If you like black licorice this is the only toothpaste you will ever want to use again. I have tried other natural toothpaste and this is the only one that I would even consider using again. I have been using this toothpast on and off for a couple of years (mostly by I have to order online and can't just pickup in the store) and it is wonderful. I have never loved a toothpaste, but this is incredible. And no, I am not getting paid for my review or get anything free, I just really like this product. I do use Dr. Bonners for most of the cleaners and soaps in my house so I am a fan of the brand, but this toothpaste does the best at getting your teeth clean. You may need to use a bit more than other brands but it is worth it for the way your teeth feel when your done. And it is definitely true to the black licorice flavor. If you like black licorice and you are considering this, GO FOR IT! You'll love it.

I first found this at a health food store I no longer live close to. Lots of places carry the brand, but few stock the Anise flavor. In my life and experience, mint is overplayed, and I don't care for cinnamon outside of cooking. This is such a refreshing alternative. Subtle. Nothing harmful like SLS (yes, SLS definitely triggers cold sores). And above all, it's not too bloody sweet! What's the obsession with loading toothpaste with sugar? Not only is sugar bad for teeth, but bacteria love it, so if you put sugar in your mouth just before bed you'll have swamp mouth all night.

Delicious anise flavor!

I have found this toothpaste to be a winner for me. It cleans well and tastes pleasant but the real benefit is that it's all natural ingredients are such a pleasant change from putting toxins in my mouth. I'm so glad I found this. My only wish is that the flavor was a bit stronger (anise) and that the consistency of the paste was more easily dispensed from the tube but I found a way to release it more easily by laying down on the counter and pushing on the tube. My arthritic fingers have difficulty squeezing anything but that's just me. Others would not have this issue I believe. I like this toothpaste so much though.

Great product, I could not find anywhere at local stores

The first time I purchased the licorice flavor the taste was great as was the consistency of the paste. I've bought the same product twice now and have thrown both away. The taste is non existent and the consistency of the paste is comparable to a tube of calk. It was so dry and hard that it rolled off of my toothbrush. It was also difficult to squeeze out of the tube, Obviously I won't be purchasing again. I really dislike giving bad reviews, but thought this particular one was necessary.

I've used Dr Bronner's soap for years but never knew they made a toothpaste. Like the soap, there are no harmful ingredients, only the basics. Works wonderfully, gets your teeth super clean. Very gentle and good flavor. Three flavors: peppermint, anise and cinnamon. I like anise. The peppermint is good, not too strong. I'm thrilled with this discovery. Dr Bronner has always produced a quality product, good for your health. This toothpaste is no exception. Lowers the toxic load to your body and gets your teeth really clean! Will definately buy again

I really love this product. It makes my mouth feel so fresh and clean. But if you don’t like the taste of licorice, you might not like this because it does have mild to moderate flavor of licorice.

Dr. Bronner Zahnpasta ist gut schmeckt lecker fast wie Anisplätzchen also man schmeckt den Anis richtig raus . Was auch gut ist zumal sie ohne Giftstoffe auskommt und auch keine Tierversuche gemacht wurden was positiv ist . Und ich probiere gerne verschieden Zahnpastas aus, da ja in anderen ländern komischerweise versch. geschmackssorten gibt bei uns gibt es nur diese langweillige Minzgeschmack. Und mit einer Zahnpasta mit Geschmack macht das Zähneputzen auch mehr spass. Zumal mir mein Zahnarzt den rat gab, das man nie bei einer sorte Zahnpasta bleiben sollte weil sich die Mundflora mit der zeit daran gewöhnt und wenn man immer die gleiche sorte nimmt irgendwann die Wirkung der Inhaltsstoffe nachlässt. Deshalb benutze ich immer wieder mehrere sorten und mein Mund dankt es mir.

Pues eso. Fresco, suave, sin espuma y sabroso. Limpia y refresca pero no deja un efecto duradero en la boca, ya que no lleva sustancias químicas. Lo prefiero.

A great taste and my teeth look whiter, which came as a surprise, as well as feeling cleaner. Texture is pleasant, there’s no salty aftertaste and it feels less aggressive than regular toothpaste
