CYNOVA Osmo Action Dual 3.5mm Mic Adapter - Made for Osmo Action with Authorization

I bought this Cynova for my DJI action cam so i could use my accessory mics. I was concerned that the metal cage i purchased (SKYREAT) might be too thick after watching a YouTube video review that said you could only use this mic adapter with the plastic cage this camera comes with. It snaps into place perfectly! No issues at all. It also works with TRS and TRSS mics as you can see from the pics. Buy it and the SKYREAT cage, it works!

I added this to my Osmo so I could plug a mic in. It works fine for that but since the mic port is on the back, not great if you want to vlog with it unless you have a separate mic mount. On the other hand, it fits perfect with case on and makes it easy to plug a USB C in the bottom. The cable never fell out while plugged in. Overall happy with the product.

DJ Osomo Action Mic Adapter is the only one that fits it and works correctly. If you need a real mic you will need this accessory. This with a real mic gives you the best sound. A must-have if you are blogging.

Nice part but there’s a bit of step. It shakes little and fills not that sturdy. Apart from that, it is nice accessory.

Now that its half the price 19.99 I felt it was worth trying, also, with the latest Osmo Action camera firmware fixing some of the audio adapter issues (Osmo Action Firmware v01.07.00.20 2019-12-03). I find the audio is much better with the external mic so the purchase is worth it. You also need to buy a new case for your Osmo Action Camera PGY Tech makes the one and only one at the time of this writing that works. There is also a plastic clamp out there that works well too, I got them both, but prefer the PGY case over the clamp that goes on the stock case.

Works like it should with DJI Osmo action camera. Plug a standard 3.5mm (I think that's the size) mic jack into the CYNOVA adapter and then plug the adapter into the camera. You do have to remove the cover over the sd card and the mic jack on the camera in order for this adapter to work, but it snaps off, then back on easily.

I was super excited to see Osmo had support for an external audio adapter with passthrough USB-C power... well they got my money, and I got scammed. I tried multiple cables, and multiple chargers/batteries. I found that: THIS DOES NOT PASS THROUGH POWER!! Not only do I regret buying this sub par adapter, but without these features available to me, I regret getting an Osmo Action. Shoulda gotten the popular camera. Edit** What I found is there is a higher charging voltage required to passthrough this device than what is required straight to the camera. I had to use a USB-A to USB-C from my external battery pack to send enough juice to make it through rather then just a USB-C to USB-C that works just fine when not using the device. Changed to 3 stars.

Der Stecker hat ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal, da DJI den eigenen aus dem Sortiment genommen hat. Der von DJI war auch ein umständliches Teil. Der von CYNOVA ist viel anwendungsfreundlicher. Trotzdem zu teuer, wenn auch prima gemacht.

It works! I'm not sure what company made this little adapter, but I don't care. It is too simple to even care. It fits and it works with every lavalier microphone I have, including Boya BY-M1 Pro. It means that the adapter supplies power for the microphone. So if your microphone supplies it's own power, turn it off or you will not hear anything. Fortunately Osmo Action camera's display shows a little indicator, so you can be sure that the microphone is connected and working. The sound levels are good. Unless you scream to the microphone real loud. The adapter does not wobble much, but it doesn't fit perfectly either. I'm not sure how much water resistance it has. But if you are creative you can deal with it easily, I'm sure. I have a PGYTech case and the adapter fits it very well. All in all, it works with no problems at all and it's more than adequate.

普通に使えました

I really hoped this was going to take my OSMO Action to the next level with its audio, but the adaptor just pops out of the USB-C port at random, so the external Microphone stops being used. I have tried it with both the outer cage, and without it, still same problem. Yes I have physically removed the cover latch. It will only work if I use a rubber band to hold it on!

It's awesome, fit with DJI Osmo and attached with Saramonic Blink400 wireless mic. no issue. I tried many but this is the one that works. I strongly recommend this product
