This thing lasted me 1 year until the cord failed. I really liked the look and color of this web cam but it is very grainy. Price is forgiving tho.

It works well once plugged into computer. However, I was purchasing this for Windows Hello. This Webcam does not support Windows Hello sign-in option because it does not have IR sensor. If you need Windows Hello/Facial recognition, DO NOT buy this item.

This webcam gives a really strong fishbowl effect. I got it because I wanted a wider fob, which it has but it is just way too wide. The camera quality is just not very good in comparison to other cameras for a similar price. Super grainy and it made my face look like a sheet of paper in a lower light setting, so the overexposure was crazy. I don’t think it is made well either, when I was adjusting it by my monitor the picture was flickering in and out, and then once I placed it, it wasn’t even stable. The video quality just wasn’t there. I can’t recommend this product because for the price there is just better stuff. You’re better off going to YouTube and watching reviews because they will provide footage from the webcams.

The HD 1080p webcam does a decent job for basic use like video calls and casual streaming. The picture quality is clear enough in good lighting, and the wide 110° angle is great for group calls or showing more of the room. However, there are a few drawbacks. The built-in microphone picks up a lot of background noise, so it's not ideal for professional meetings. Also, the image gets grainy in low light, and there's no autofocus or adjustable settings, which limits flexibility. Overall, it's okay for the price, but not great if you're looking for higher quality audio or more advanced features.

This webcam is of real high quality and I am very happy with my purchase. The small screens on the laptops and chrome books were giving my kids a big eyestrain every day and I wanted them to use big screen monitors. It is so odd but the monitors I bought didn’t come with a camera. So, the kids had to still open up their laptops so the teachers could see them. I wanted them to just rely on the monitors alone so I purchased this webcam and hooked on top the monitor. Now they can just connect their laptops to the monitor and keyboard and just leave it closed and away from their desks. The webcam will pick up the video and transmit it. The video resolution is superb and the it transmits very nice videos better than their chrome books/laptop. It also picks up your voice. when you talk online. Attaching the camera is pretty easy and it doesn’t take up space on top of the monitor. The webcam has a small shutter and it can be closed to ensure more privacy when not in use. The camera itself is adjustable which is a pretty nice feature and we don’t constantly have to shift the big monitor to adjust the video.

The picture is clear and focused on the person sitting in front of the monitor, plus the microphone sound quality is also very good. This is perfect for Zoom, etc. The plastic edge around my monitor is less than 1/8" (closer to 2mm) thick while the back of the monitor rapidly flares outwards which seems less than optimal. However, the camera clamps securely on without any pressure on the screen itself. (See photo). Even if there had been a problem, this camera comes with a flexible tripod and the included USB cable is 3 feet long, so locating it elsewhere would not have been a problem. I'm on Windows 11 and this just plugged straight in and worked right off the bat. Zero setup required. The only "work" you need to do is decide whether you want the privacy flap to be installed. If you do, it's a ring that simply slips over the lens cylinder and sticks to the camera body. For $20 this is a no brainer.

I’ve been using the ZIQIAN 1080P Webcam for a while now, and I’m really impressed with the quality. The video is clear and sharp, making it perfect for live streaming, video calls, and online meetings. The setup was super easy—just plug and play with no extra drivers needed. The built-in microphone also picks up sound well without needing a headset. For the price, this webcam delivers excellent performance and reliability. Highly recommended!

Got this for $20 on Amazon - yes $20... amazed at the value for money the quality of the camera is great, some feedback: 1/ It's a wide angle (ie fish bowl style) picture looks great, just it gets more of the whole room in so be aware of that vs the flat mac camera 2/ the quality is crisp and clear 3/ it's easy to setup, the USB slot needs to be powered so I couldn't use the USB bank i had, i had to plug it directly into the macbook 4/ the lights at the top no way to turn them off so it's a bit annoying with a strong red and green light there. 5/ the latch you attach and it sticks up when opened which is a bit annoying 6/ the stand is good and solid. Overall, a 4/5, but for $20, it's a 5/5, can't beat the price vs quality. It serves the purpose, definitely would not fork out the crazy prices for the logitech cameras out there, this is perfect for the intended purpose. Also i was concerned with it intruding onto my monitor, but it's perfect and works well.

It does the job. It was cheap and easy to connect to my PC. I Don't need nothing more than this. Looking for something cheap and easy to use this is the product you are looking for

I originally bought this ZIQIAN 1080P webcam during the pandemic when everything suddenly went virtual and webcams were sold out everywhere. It ended up being a great find at the time, and surprisingly, I’m still using it in 2026—so it’s clearly held up well over the years. Setup was simple and straightforward with USB plug-and-play, and it’s worked consistently for video calls, meetings, and general use. One feature I really appreciate is the built-in microphone. The audio quality is perfectly fine for calls and meetings, and it’s convenient not needing a separate microphone cluttering up my desk. This webcam is especially useful if you use a laptop with an external monitor. The mount feature is useful because it just sits on top of the monitor and doesn’t fall easily. If you like being able to keep your laptop closed and still hop on video calls without any hassle, this would work great. The wide 110-degree viewing angle is nice too—it captures enough of the frame without needing to constantly adjust the camera. Video quality is decent but not exceptional. This is why I give it a 4/5 star. It’s clear enough for professional video calls, conferencing, and casual streaming, but it’s not meant for high-end content creation. That said, it absolutely does the job it’s intended for. If you need to record higher end videos or stream, this may not be the quality for you. One of my favorite features is the physical privacy shutter. I don’t like leaving webcams exposed when they’re not in use, so being able to physically close the lens gives extra peace of mind from a security standpoint. Overall, this has been a dependable, long-lasting webcam that’s proven its value over time. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, practical, and continues to meet my needs years after purchase.

Used for work from home, the video quality is good, but if you need high resolution, double check with other comments. Nice, still functioning after 2+ years now.
