Great kit to build from !
Great project! And lost of upgrades available! I attached some pictures of mine after I did a bunch of upgrades. This rig is insanely fun and capable. I have so many more upgrades planned as parts get delivered, Some mods are custom tho.

Not
This is a great truck. It took some time to build, but that was half the fun of it. It's almost unstoppable. Please take the time to read the ad. It's NOT assembled. It does NOT come with electronics. The body is NOT painted. But, again, this thing is more fun than should be legal. Be prepared for some work prior to playing, but it's well worth it!

Fun Build
This is the Crawler that I've wanted since I got back into RC's. There is a lot of room for customizing it to your desire. My advice would be to get the stainless screw kit, and use them instead of the screws that come with it. Despite what other reviewers have said, if you take your time and plan it out you can put in a 550 motor.

Great rock buggy
I fall for buggy look. never had an RC before. For me it was easy to put together. The performance out of the box is not the best, however you can modified and get a great rig.

Fun machine easy build
The instructions are very good , had fun building this kit , one thing make sure you use a crawler ESC , and a shorty battery 7.4 volt battery pac the standard 7.4 battery pacs are longer and hang out the back of the crawler this crawler is alot of fun !

Received my crawler and didn't open it up right away, opened it after the return window to find out it had been previously opened and the wheels and tires where missing

Looks nice but the stock build is not up to expectations.
Bought the R1 kit because I like its look very much. However, after construction and a few runs, I found it lacking in several areas. 1) Assembly manual could be clearer and provide more details to someone who is new to building such cars. I have to re-construct a few parts due to incorrect or incomplete understanding of the instructions. 2) The shocks are extremely difficult to build and without using of plumber's tape it is impossible in my case to prevent oil leaking from the shocks. 3) The rear transmission shaft touches the chasis with the stock upper and lower link mounts. 4) The body is not very stable with the kit links. Much better after separately purchased link mounts. 5) Biggest problem - the universal shaft is plastic, and the joints are not stainless. So after some test runs, the shaft was torn by the motor power, and when I tried to disassemble it I realized the joints are rusty and I cannot separate them from the shaft. As a result I had to replace the whole transmission unit and the shaft... cost me a lot of extra money. Using plastic for the shaft is a joke...

Very good.
The kit took a long time to complete, but I am very satisfied now that it's done. by far the best trail/rock crawler that I have owned.
