Excellent French Breakfast Tea
Excellent flavor and consistency. We’ve used Dammann for years ever since discovering it in London and very nice that Amazon now carries it since dealing with the US distributor used to be a chore. Best to brew with water below boiling, maybe 190-200 degrees at most and watch timing: try 3 min. max in a 4-cup teapot.

Expensive but worth it
This is my new favorite tea! As a long time tea drinker (talking childhood with a Scottish Grandmother), my prior everyday tea was Twining’s Irish Breakfast. Got one sachet of Dammann Freres and had to track it down. Granted, it’s expensive but I think I’m worth it. It gives me great pleasure to drink one, really good cup of tea every morning.

SHIPPING ERROR: STRONG BREAKFAST TEA was shipped instead of what is offered. Unacceptable.
The Breakfast Tea as advertised is what I love and what I ordered. The STRONG Breakfast Tea is quite different. Just would have been nice to receive what is pictured and described. According to other reviews this is happening to other buyers as well and the problem should be corrected immediately. The right tea gets 5 stars, the STRONG not so much!

Inaccurate description
I ordered this because the description said FULL LEAF TEA in bags. I’ve tasted the full leaf version and loved it. What I received is cut tea, likely a PF1 grade which is tea BAG cut. The aroma is great but the flavor doesn’t compare to the full leaf blend in bags. VERY disappointed

I first tasted this tea in Paris. It taste great plain , doesn’t need sugar

The Best
I called the St. Regis in D.C. a year after staying there to finally find out the name of this tea they have in their rooms and I'm so glad I did! Finally I have found my favorite breakfast tea and I now drink it almost every day.

Too thin and weak
This was very disappointing. Very thin and weak...not alot of malt or tea flavor. This company's Earl Grey is quite good, a perfect balance of Bergamot and tea. This tea cannot stand up to breakfast. It is too weak with little body or briskness. Even with steep times of 4 and 5 minutes. This needs more flavor and personality. Twinings Everyday Tea has more personality and flavor than this watery tea. Sorry. Great packaging, though.
