My 7 year old son loves this. It keeps him entertained. He loves all the games and love to beat his old score. He loves using it as alarm and use a timer for himself in doing his task or keep him on schedule. He also loves to take picture of things but you know the pictures are not a high quality resolution but it is good enough for his age. He loves exploring this watch and so much features to keep him entertained!

This watch is seriously cool! I really just needed an alarm for my 8 yr old son to get him up in the morning to take care of animals, but this is so much more! He just got it yesterday and was so incredibly excited and grateful that he helped out willingly on cleaning the house! I like that there isn't any internet and such... It's a safe gadget that is a good intro to technology. The two cameras are pretty cool and he LOVES having something to take his OWN pictures and video on! Yesterday he was taking selfies with his chickens! I'm impressed with the clock faces, filters, pic stickers, games, says time for you, learning activities too. Oh and I was bummed there wasn't a calculator, but then noticed you can actually download a calculator. You can also record your own alarm too. We love it so much I just bought another for our almost 5 yr old son. It'll be nice on our long trip we have coming up!

Bought this for my daughters 6th birthday around 8 months ago. She loved it when she received it and still loves it now - which is unusual as she gets bored of toys pretty quickly. It has lots of fun features which are easy for a child to use. It’s has been hours of entertainment for my daughter. So much so that we bought one for our older 7 year old daughter too.

First of all, my son absolutely loves it. The only reason I put 4 stars is because the volume on some of the apps doesn’t silence even when the settings are set on silence. Especially the camera part. My son wore it to church and a family friend bent over and asked him what time it was and he accidentally pressed the camera button and the shutter sound went off. It was funny and it really wasn’t a big deal, he had just gotten it for his birthday earlier that day so I wasn’t upset. But that would be something to think about if taking it places where there needs to be quiet. Other than that it works great and he loves it. We (parents not him) are still learning how it works to see about parental controls and timers and such I’d like to put on for him. But he’s been wanting an Apple Watch (he just turned 8) since I got mine and so we told him if he can take care of this for a couple of years maybe he can get a watch that makes calls (reason he wants it is to call my mom and text her and his aunts and older cousins). But this is great. If it wasn’t for the simple loud shutter sound when on silent this would be golden. I doubt we will have more issues now that’s he has it down. If I figure out how to silence that I’ll come back and update to 5 stars. I just need all apps and the camera to be silenced if he wears it to appointments or church. Also wished it had a GPS but it states it doesn’t so that’s something we knew before purchasing. But that would be great especially if he’s with friends or family so we can keep an eye on his ware abouts just in case. I’ll be looking for one with GPS for his next one but until then this will work.
