I have granite countertops. They are easy to clean and impervious to damage, but I hate how loudly items clatter on the surface. These silicone mats really help reduce noise and keep plates and bowls from sliding around. I actually like that they don’t lay perfectly flush with the countertop- it’s much easier to move them around.

I wish I would have found these years ago. They would have made my clean up a lot faster and better. These are great pads for the microwave glass platter. We used to put paper towels on that platter, to catch any spills and also because we hated that "bang" noise on the glass when putting anything on it. Is anyone using the microwave......you can tell by hearing that BANG! on the glass platter. This item stopped that, BUT, it tends to move while the microwave is running. We put it smackdab in the center of the glass platter; put our dish or cup on it; turn on the microwave; when it's finished, we notice this pad has moved about an inch. Don't know why this is happening, because the material should grip anything (it feels like a computer mouse pad). Other than the moving, this has solved our spill problems and BANG! noise. It's extremely easy to clean. Glad we bought it.

I just got a new microwave and I wanted to keep it clean. I had never noticed these mats before, but I am so glad I found them. These mat have two great purposes: First they help to keep your microwave clean. They catch so many of those irritating messes the microwave is so famous for. If something spills, as it always does, just take out the mat and wash it off. It is so easy to keep my microwave clean now. Second, you can use them to take your hot bowl or dish out of the microwave. No more burnt fingers trying to pull that hot bowl of soup out. No more dumping the whole bowl in the micro or on the stove because you burnt your fingers. I know you all know what I am talking about. When your food is done, just grab the edges of the mate and wrap it up around the sides of your hot bowl. Tada! You can now remove it without getting burnt or spilling it. I highly recommend these. I love them so much that I sent a set to my daughter. Love that there are two in the package, one person takes out their hot bowl and there is another one ready for the next person.

Handy in the microwave as a splatter cover. I also use one on the glass turntable to catch spills, and I can leave it under the dish to take it out of the microwave. These work well and are less than half of the price of the name brand silicone grabs. Also, i have washed them in the top rack of the dishwasher and they continue to work fine. I'm happy with my purchase. These are thinner than i thought they would be but they work just fine and protect my hands from the heat.

They serve their purpose, however they are very thin and do not lay flat.

Wonderful product to use in my microwave. It sits right on the glass turntable and it a perfect fit. It's non-toxic and heat resistant, which I love. There is a bit of stickiness to it that secures it well to the turntable to it doesn't slip around. It looks nice in the microwave, too. What I really love is that if I'm microwaving something and it spills over, this mat catches and it with a swipe or two of a dish rag, it's clean, again.

Perfect size and very flexible - just what I wanted. I use them for placemats and microwave covers.

I've been wanting one of these for so long and was so happy when it arrived. It came as a package of two mats. The silicone is nice and thin and lays perfect on the glass plate in the microwave. It eliminates that sound when you place a mug or plate on the glass, it wipes up easy with any spills. It's a great colour and came at the exact size I ordered. This would make a perfect gift. I don't know why I didn't get one long ago. I'm so happy.

I used to put a layer of paper towel on my microwave tray, to catch any mess, but having to change it all the time, and sometimes still having to take out that heavy glass tray to clean it was not ideal. I would always be so nervous I would break it! These silicone mats are perfect! Easy to clean, and doesn't allow any mess to seep through to the glass tray. If I have any complaint at all, is that I wish it was a little bigger. My microwave tray is about an inch bigger all around, so the silicone mat doesn't completely cover it, but it's still better than those pesky paper towels any day!

I didn't like the clanking when my coffee cup touched the glassware plate in the microwave so noise suppression was my first reason for buying this. It also prevents dishes from sliding on the glass plate. There are two of them in the package and the second one sits on the top of the microwave to act as a heat insulator for anything else that is placed there. My microwave is one of those multi-function ones that can air fry at temps all the way up to 425F. This silicone mat is good to 480F so I can leave it in there. The color they chose for this mat was just what the inside of my microwave needed.
