I'm not looking for the best, just really something that worked
I bought these some months ago and put them on the shelf. It took awhile to get around to using them. Didn't want to use range rented glasses anymore and figured with Remington on it there was some level of quality here. I'm not looking for the best, just really something that worked. Finally got around to using them. They worked while on my face. They did fog up like crazy but I'm not going to blame the glasses on that. It's when I took them off that was the problem. They immediately snapped in 3 places. Not the lens part but the black band part. I didn't yank them off or anything. I threw them away and went to get a hair cut and the barber found ANOTHER piece of the glasses in my hair behind my ear. The glasses essentially disintegrated.Could it be that I left them sitting on the shelf? Maybe? I don't know I don't think it's that unreasonable. I think I'll go with a solid pair of construction safety glasses or something next time.

Does what it claims to do!
Just like it promises, it keeps things in your eye socket that are suppose to be there and things out of your eye socket that aren't suppose to be there.. sturdy, light weight, and decent clarity. I will say that they scratch rather easily so be careful with them. But they are great for range goggles and general light duty when doing things that could be hazardous to your eyes. Over all i'm happy with them and would buy them again.

Great fitting glasses at a great price!
These safety glasses are very nice and at a great price too! I am an Asian man and I usually wear Oakley radars with a asian fit nosepiece and I used to wear Oakley M frames but they kept on cracking near the sides of the lenses probably because I have a wide big head and the ear pieces are being stressed. These Remington glasses are very comfortable for me and they fit really well like my Oakley Radars. The glasses sit well on my nose and face. The problem I usually have are the lenses usually rest on my cheeks and when I smile the lens hits my cheeks. These glasses have room and only if I smile really big I kinda hit the lens a little but with mostly any other glasses my cheeks hit the lenses and I usually get them smudged with sunscreen. I live in Hawaii so I need to apply sunscreen all the time. The ear pieces are not adjustable but they seem to come off if you want to replace them or clean them. Most of the frame is plastic and then the earpieces are made of rubber to grip and stay on your head. The nose piece is also made of rubber and stays on the lens pretty good. Doesn't seem it will fall off, you probably have to pull it off with some force. I bought these glasses in clear first then decided to get the smoke for sun protection outside while mowing or weedwacking. I also use a face shield just in case. I don't want to scratch these glasses. The only markings on these glasses are the lenses say R+S on the bottom right, both earpieces say R Z87+ but the right side also says Taiwan and the main frame where your right eyebrow would be says R Z87+ also. I am very happy with these Remington safety glasses and I'm surprised they fit me well. I am a 5'4 220lb man with a big round head that takes a XL hat size or 7 3/4 boonie hat. Usually glasses fall off my nose because of the wide nosepiece. On my Oakley Radars I have to have the Asian fit nose piece. The regular nosepiece doesn't fit we'll and the oakleys slide off my nose. I have a small bridge on my nose and the Asian fit nosepiece has a narrow tighter fit. These glasses fit almost like my radars. Very nice glasses. I mostly always use my Oakleys and these glasses are for yard work, work. For one pair of Oakley Radars I could get 30 pairs of these! So you can leave them anywhere like in your car, at work, in your bag, and at home. The package says all the lenses provide 99% protection from ultraviolet rays. These glasses are manufactured by Radians. Protect your eyes and be safe.

Great for bicycle use
I usually where sports sunglasses when riding my bike (commute 15 miles each way for work), but as the days started getting shorter the 6am morning commute stopped being bright enough to feel safe while riding with dark lenses. Plus, as the rain is returning the dark clouds made dark lenses annoying as well. Allergies cause my eyes to dry out very quickly so riding without coverage is downright painful at times. After reading a review from another cyclist I decided to try these out with the clear lenses(barely any risk with how cheap these are!).Have used them for about a week, and they are fantastic! They're relatively light, sit securely on my face, and the rubber piece that goes over the nose is comfortable and helps keep the glasses secure when I'm sweating profusely. Mine do seem to have slight distortion right near the middle, but it isn't noticeable unless you're trying to look at something very closely. Have had a little bit of fogging, but only when at stoplights and I could still see fine, it cleared up once I started moving again. They're great in the rain, though! I live in Oregon and will be trying to bike commute year-round for the first time this winter, so that's extremely important for me!

Use these for bicycle commuting, save your eyes
I use these for bicycle commuting. Why? Well, dust in your eye at 20-30mph sucks. Actually, standing still road debris hurts so, imagine at speed. If you commute any distance at all, you really ought to be wearing some glasses. If I were to do it again though, I'd probably spring for the ones with multiple lenses. They're the same, but it'd be nice to have the flexibility I think. Anyway, they're super cheap so you can get as many pairs as you need and they're plenty strong enough to resist a lot of things that might fly at your eyes. Two days after getting these, I had a massive bug splatter on them while going down a hill. Needless to say, I was very happy to have these on. I've also been saved from swarms of gnats and at least one wasp thanks to these.

Good but need a closer and more protective fit
The build quality and clarity of these glasses are good but they sit very high up on my face and leave a very large gap at the bottom. I took the slide on rubber nose piece off and this helps them fit closer to my face a little better but it makes them uncomfortable. I am not sure why the glasses are made so that they sit out away from your face so much, so much so that they wouldn't protect you if you are weed eating or doing any task below chest level or close to your body. I wish they fit closer and didn't leave so much room at the bottom but other than that they are good.
