I needed this so I could move my high speed document scanner to a more convenient location. I have been an avid fan of having a paperless office for many years, as soon as I get a document I scan it then shred it. I do it so much I got frustrated with my old scanner because it took about 20 seconds a scan, the one I am using now takes less than 5 seconds. Of course part of the key to that is using a very high quality USB 3.0 cable and trying to keep it as short as possible. My old cable was five feet, just slightly too short. I tried to find an eight foot one with no luck and not only were ten foot ones difficult to find that is really pushing how long it should be without starting to use some speed. Not only was this one an ideal 6.6 feet long but it is reasonably priced and had next day to my door. Add to that it is attractive , something important to me in my graphic arts studio. I won't get into benchmarking it because I think that tends to be pretentious - everyone's equipment, software and method of use varies widely. I will just say it equals or exceeds the speed of most commonly available printers and scanners. Not that it should matter a lot but this cable also looks great, the shadow gray color compliments the newest smartphones and other electronic equipment. To me that's a plus, I like to keep my office looking neat.

Some of my music equipment still uses the usb "B" connectors. This cable is tough and works well.

My fault, I wanted a USB cable with "B" at one end and an "A" fitting at the other end. I guess I ordered the wrong cable, the big square end is not a USB. Both

Cables arrived on time. These cables are needed to connect a monitor to a computer, thereby giving extra USB ports. Have two monitors. The makeup of the cables appears to be rugged. They are enclosed in a braided outer shell which will protect them from damage from strains or kinking. I would recommend the cables and the seller.

Cable seems to be of good quality. Bought this cable to replace an amazon basics cable that just stopped working after a couple of years.

Being an amatuer astronomer, often with my equipment exposed to between 0 and -10C, I find these cables are the best choice.
