This electric toothbrush gets my teeth feeling super clean, way better than a regular brush. Easy to use, charges well, and I love how smooth my teeth feel after each use.

My dentist recommended I swap from the Phillips Sonicare to an Oral B electric toothbrush to more easily reach behind and around my back molars. I’ve had a Sonicare brush of some sort for 15 years now. I was hesitant to swap. When the Oral B brush arrived, I unpacked it and everything went together well. I rinsed the small by comparison brush head and decided to give it an immediate go. I pushed the power button and I swear a rocket blasted off into space - inside my head. This thing is LOUD! Much, much louder than the Sonicare toothbrush I was accustomed to all these years. However, it has some oomph behind it and quite a bit of scrubbing power in those bristles. I vowed to give it a solid week before making my final decision. I most miss the silence of my Phillips Sonicare brush and the minimalist timer function but that’s really it. All else is sacrificial to me. The Oral B gives my teeth and gums a much deeper and thorough clean I feel. The timer function is a bit odd on this brush though. It almost feels as if it “skips.” As if you put too much pressure on the motor and it burns out for a split second before revving back up. It also doesn’t automatically shut off after two minutes - it just keeps rattling your brain endlessly until you turn it off. I don’t really find this feature helpful personally. I did notice that you CAN charge this toothbrush with the Phillips Sonicare base. It’s the same peg-in-hole design concept of sitting the brush on the base to charge. Regardless of which charger I grab from the drawer, the Oral B charge doesn’t last very long. Within a weeks time, it’s flashing at me brightly to give it some juice. My Sonicare could easily go several weeks between charges with twice daily usage. This one drains pretty quickly. I wish the Oral B brush heads came with a cap/cover of sorts. All in all, I like the toothbrush. It’s not my favorite and I prefer the stealth and sleekness of the Phillips Sonicare more BUT the Oral B has other brands beat on deep cleaning. The vibrations and the oscillation of the brush head just cannot be beat. I’ll admit, most mornings, I use my Sonicare brush still. I’m not fully awake, nor am I a morning person in general so the sound of a Boeing jet starting up in my mouth isn’t how I want to start my day. Sonicare let’s me ease into my mornings gently. However, at night, I always use the Oral B brush to deep clean and clear away any lingering dinner debris before bed. I’m not ready to fully embrace this brush yet but I like it enough to keep it and continue using it. I feel it’s overall function outweighs its aesthetics. Oral B if you’re reading this; please, make it quieter, give it a longer-lasting battery and please, put a cap on the brush head for storage and overspray of styling products and perfumes.

I have arthritis in my hands but found this model of Oral B to work out great. Not too heavy. Vibration is minimal. Splatter is minimal. Cleans my teeth well. Is not loud like many reviewers claim. Battery is good and lasts a week. Problems with mold with other models will not happen for me. I remove the toothbrush head and let it drain overnight. I also turn the toothbrush upside down to drain and dry completely overnight. Only complaint that has been a problem is finding the on/off button. Why would they design it this way? Hoping this one lasts a long time!

My husband and I have been using electric toothbrushes for decades. The battery in his "died" so we ordered a new one.

Wow! What an amazing clean! My teeth feel like I just came from a dentist office cleaning! I would highly recommend this electric toothbrush. I have used an electric toothbrush for years, but struggled getting my wisdom teeth and the hard to reach areas as clean as possible. This Oral-B is amazing and it cleans my teeth, including my wisdom teeth easily, while leaving my gums feeling great. The cross action brush does its job! I am so glad I purchased it. It is a little louder than my previous brand, but not that much louder and I don't mind it at all. Don't hesitate to buy this amazing item.

I been brushin’ with the same crusty ol’ manual toothbrush since the Clinton administration—thing looked like it’d been chewin’ tobacco and losin’ the fight. Teeth were yellower than a school bus dipped in mustard. Then my cousin Earl (the one with the good teeth and the bad ideas) says “Bubba, git yerself one of them fancy ‘lectric ones before yer grin looks like a busted picket fence.”So I ordered this Oral-B Pro 1000 deal. UPS fella dropped it off lookin’ skeered, probably thought I was gonna pay him in moonshine and possum jerky. I crack open the box and there she is—shinin’ like a chrome bumper on a jacked-up F-150. Felt like I just bought a new horse, except this one don’t eat my beer money.First time I fired her up? Lord have mercy. That thing vibrated so hard I thought I’d accidentally swallowed a honey badger on Red Bull. Two minutes later my mouth felt cleaner than a whistle at a Baptist picnic. I’m talkin’ SPARKLIN’. I coulda used my teeth to signal airplanes. Even the coffee stains from three Thanksgivings ago packed up and left like they owed me money.The little pressure sensor light? That’s just fancy talk for “Hey dummy, you’re mashin’ harder than a toddler on a sugar high.” Saved my gums from lookin’ like I’d been French kissin’ a bobcat. And that timer? Two minutes feels like forever when you’re used to brushin’ for 14 seconds and callin’ it good. Now I stand there hummin’ “Sweet Home Alabama” waitin’ for the beep like a good boy.Only complaint is now every time I smile, the wife keeps askin’ if I got my teeth whitened at one of them fancy malls. I tell her “Naw darlin’, this is 100% Oral-B and pure Appalachian stubbornness.” She just rolls her eyes and mutters somethin’ about me fallin’ in love with a toothbrush. She ain’t wrong.Bottom line: If this brush was a horse I’d name it Thunder and ride it to church. If it was a woman I’d propose, but she’d probably say no on account of me already bein’ hitched to the wife and the possum in the freezer.Ten-gallon hats off to ya, Oral-B. You done fixed my smile and probably saved me from gettin’ asked to leave another family reunion.Would buy again. Might even buy two—one for me and one for the dog so we can match.Yee-friggin’-haw.

Según el manual de internet a este cepillo la bateria le tendría que durar AL MENOS 10 DÍAS, pero en la practica a duras penas llega a la semana. A ver, una semana usandolo 3 veces al día es bastante, pero por ese precio esperaria un poco más de duración. Otros cepillos más baratos llegan facilmente a los 10 días. Otra cosa que no me gustó es que vino completamente descargado y el manual estaba en portuges así que lo puse a cargar un rato, pensando que con un par de horas serie suficiente, pero sorpresa, después de buscar el manual de internet resulta que para cargar completamente este cepillo necesitas dejarlo conectado nada más y nada menos que ¡16 HORAS! Algo que no me termina de convencer es la forma de cargar estos cepillos de Oral B. Por razones que desconozco la forma de cargarlos es como el de los Iphone, solo colocandolos en su base y listo, se comienzan a cargar de forma inalambrica, el problema es que ese tipo de carga tarda MUCHO, de ahí que tarde más de medio día en cargarse. Esos detalles hacen que pienses que quizás seria mejor comprar uno de pilas, porque a esos son más baratos, les dura mucho más la bateria y cuando toca cargarlos en 2 o 3 horas ya están listos otra vez. Puede que sea cosa minima, pero después de 2 meses de uso resulta molesto tener que cargarlo cada semana durante medio día, por que tampoco es que puedas ponerlo a cargar después de cada cepillada, no, el manual dice explicitamente que eso no es recomendable y que mejor esperes a que se descargue por completo para volver a cargarlo por completo ¿Por qué? no lo sé. Finalmente, la descripción del cepillo dice explicitamente que tiene un sensor de presión, pero no dice que hace ese sensor o como te avisa si estás ejerciendo mucha presión en el cepillado, porque hasta ahora, solo por ponerlo a prueba, he ejercido mucha presión en el cepillo y nunca ha saltado ninguna alarma o sonido o alerta que te indique que el sensor detectó más presión de la necesaria, hasta dudo que tenga dicho sensor.
