It is very cost effective, and it works.
I used it to serve as an on/off switch to trigger a magnetic starter switch on a 3 phase motor on my surface grinder. It works very well using just one wire thru the switch. Bob in Council Bluffs, Iowa, March, 2026

Went in husband's workshop
Great switch, turns power on and off as expected. My husband hooked it up to his lathe and gave me a demonstration. He was pleased! I was proud! Successful purchase!

Needs to be built better
It worked great after I installed on a 80gal compressor, which I would use a handful times a year...until today when I tried to turn it on and it didn't want to lock in the on position, at 1st I thought it tripped the breaker..NOPE..checked the resistors at the motor...NOPE...opened this up and found one of the contacts melted shut....

smaller then a double gang box
good for the price, got it for a router table. Its smaller then the standard outlet box, as long as that doesnt matter its great, I had not issues with it after hours of use today. It is 10amp check your needs before you order it

My fancy RT1000 router table, hand made in Canada, came with a simple light switch to power the router. Replaced it with this switch, which has the look and feel of industrial quality. Now I feel like I'm running with the big dogs.
