I was genuinely surprised how hefty it felt coming out of the box; this is significantly nicer feeling and looking than the table-top laser cat toy I had purchased from Pet-co. The laser is also bright and intense, and moves smoothly and randomly, not just back and forth. My cats enjoy it - but, being a random laser, isn't as "tuned in" to making a great play session as a real living person operating a pointer. However, I got this because my cats need so much (SO MUCH) play time that anything that keeps their attention for over 10 minutes WITHOUT me waving a wand or throwing a ball is essential. In addition to the suction cup, the device has a detachable back plate that lets you use a variety of anchoring methods. The suction cup is great on truly hard flat surfaces - think white boards, fridge, glass door - but should be monitored and taken down when done with play; it won't stay up for more than an hour. The suction cup doesn't work on drywall or, like, closet doors. However, we used some tacky putty and it's worked great. The whole thing just "feels" higher quality than I was expecting. It is a solid, substantial device with a fun "wave and pause" laser pattern that has been keeping my cats occupied while I try to work.

My dog absolutely loves this thing! We can’t leave it on for motion detection, because she would never stop - so I can’t speak for that quality of the product. However it comes with multiple different methods of setup including a stand, and screws if you want to attach it to a wall. It seems to hold a charge for a very long time, we use it for 10 mins/day and have to charge it every couple of weeks. It comes with a compatible chord and the stand makes it easy to plug it in and run it at the same time if you need to. I like that the ears indicate when the battery is low by flashing red. This seems to be a durable product that runs as described. I was hesitant to spend this much on a dog toy, but I’m glad I did. It’s well made and my dog is very entertained!

This motion activated cat toy worked well for my cat. The zig-zag pattern worked well to keep my cat's attention. It also stops in one spot and stays still for a brief moment which further peaks my cat's interest. I could not use the suction or screws where I wanted to mount it but the tape they give you works very well since the item is very light. I also believe that if you want to keep the laser on all day you would need to mount it somewhere where you could leave it plugged in. If you do leave it plugged in the ears on the product will stay light up. Blinking red when charging and changing colors when it is not. The only thing that I would like to improve on the product is that there is a noise that is made when the products is first turned on or when it is turned on by the motion detection. I would like to have the option to turn this noise off. The noise is good if the cat is in another room or another area and you want to get the cat's attention that the laser is on and to come play. However, if you leave it on all day and it is in a well traveled area of your house, you will hear that noise a lot.

My cats absolutely loved this laser and I loved that it sensed motion in the room. I bought this in July 2021 and it's March 2022 and the laser has stopped moving. The seller says they will replace it within 1 year but no way to contact them. I'm giving this 3 stars because when it did work it was excellent but then it quit :(

of all the toys we have tried for our 4 year old male cat that we got from a shelter. This is the one he plays with. We got the balls with catnip and talk, the robotic mice (he watched it but did not attack it), the things on the strings and poles but none made him move . Then this came in. He loves to play with it at night right before we go to sleep and in the morning. During the day it comes on and he will walk by it and not giving it a second look. But when he is in the mood for play he attacks it. Running , jumping and trying to get it. The laser is a basic zip zag pattern that stops randomly. There is two speed modes as well. The second faster speed seems to be his favorite. The first slower speed he will lay down and wait for the laser to get him before he attacks it. The mounting options are nice . We used a picture hanger so can take it down easy. The video is the first day we got it and the slower speed .

Has the potential to be a good product but does not last at all. PROS - Suction mount allows flexibility - Plugin option removes the concern of battery drainage - Motion detection (but also see the cons on this) - Compact size CONS - Who the hell at this company thought it was a good idea to put a speaker in this thing with an un-necessary high pitch squeal going off at unnecessary amount of times before it starts to work. HORRIBLE DESIGN IDEA. One beep, maybe two, lower pitch even, but this thing is TERRIBLE - Please reduce the zone for motion sensitivity. Considering the recommended height suggested, the motion sensor extends and activates long beyond the range of the actual laser and it it too sensitive - Durability: This was used in the evenings in a room to keep my cats active on something constructive at night. The learned that motion sets it off and enjoyed it greatly. My wife and I enjoyed the fact that if they got wrestles at night, this was working to kill some of that energy. It did a GREAT job at that. Our 2 cats love this thing. HOWEVER, over one month, it seized up. Motor no longer turns and you can hear it grinding away as it tries to move around. LOOK FOR SOMETHING WITH MORE DURABILITY.

Three ways to use. A suction cup for a window or glossy wall. A wall mount, or the stand. Takes 3 hours to charge and allows for three hours of play. Bought one fore my mom and grandma. They have indoor cats and outdoor cats that come inside sometimes. All of the cats played with it for an hour and a half straight. Even their cat with neurological problems was playing with it and she never plays with anything. When you press the button once, it will go for 5 minutes and then shut off, but it's motion activated so it'll start up again. Press the button a second time and it's in active mode. It will continue until you press the button a third time to turn it off or until it dies and needs recharged. We use the stand for it because the charging cable go through it to charge. But it would be easy to recharge if you use either of the other mounts by simply lifting it up off of them and then plugging it in. It's been knocked off 0f the table twice so we moved it to the floor. It seems very durable though and hasn't had any problems with functioning. I already ordered a second one for me to keep at home.

So far this is the best cat toy for our 4 cats, they all just love it! Very easy to hang on the wall and keeps them busy for hours. And it's rechargeable so we're saving so much money on replacing batteries like before with their old battery-operated toys! Now we only buy the rechargeable cat toys and this one is awesome!! Update: We just ordered & received a second PetDroid Cat Laser Toy so that our cats can continue to play while the first one recharges. They love this toy so much that they can't wait for it to recharge! It's also helping our over-weight cat get her exercise and will help to keep her healthy. It's the perfect cat toy and it's their favorite!! Update: We just ordered a third PetDroid Laser Cat Toy as the first toy stopped working completely and the second toy's laser stopped moving & has a loud humming sound now. But it's our cats' favorite toy so we bought them another one. We wish that it would last longer. Our cats really love it!
