Antrader 50PCS M1.6 Female Thread Brass Knurled Insert Embedment Nut Assortment Kit

First and foremost, I received these and really felt confused why all my components I spent over 13 hours weren't properly accepting these inserts. I thought I was an idiot and didn't measure correctly, but all threaded inserts that I've seen actually measure the outer diameter with the knurls included. Search "M3 inserts" and look at the in-saiL brand that show the CAD file for their inserts. The OD is measured from the widest points. Other sellers that are selling these exact same inserts like uxcell list the OD as 5.4mm, but you really just have to include a diagram in the store page. Put the CAD drawing in there. I did count 50 inserts, the quality seems okay but one insert I saw did not have a chamfer on the opening so it's not perfect, and I think I prefer the counter-rotating knurled inserts over these vertical ones.

The outer Diameter of the threaded inserts is actually 5.4 mm, not 5 mm!!

I'm new to the heat set process but these are plenty cool. Didn't need so many but I'll use 'em up eventually.
