KEN BROWN 9 Inch Window Fan with Remote Control, 3-Speed Reversible Air Flow and Thermostat, Quiet Exhaust and Intake

I purchased this fan for a hard-to-reach bedroom window. I did have an issue with the remote not working for the unit but the manufacturer made it right quickly! Customer service was amazing, and they sent me a new unit within a few days. I will purchase from them again. Now about the fan... this is a nice unit to have. The thermostat is pretty accurate and it's nice to set the temperature and know it will come on when it gets warm and turn itself off during the night when the temperature drops so it's not freezing in the room when i wake up.

I am pleased with this fan, after one being too noisy with rattles and the other broke down after 3 years, we went with this one. East to use with different settings and a lit temp to see how cool it is.So far, GREAT! Got here feast in excellent shape! +++

Small space hack: For some reason it's impossible to get a dual window fan less than 22 inches wide. I have an opening a little over 20". I was able to remove the side expanders and saw the plastic case down to fit this space. There is some room on the ends of the case that is just empty space, my modification did not interfere with with the blades or operation, and there was no wiring in the ends either.Features I really like: (1) It has a remote, (2) the cord is in the front, so it doesn't interfere with putting it flat on a ledge, (3) you have the option to change spin direction, so you can pull air in or exhaust out without manually moving the fan, you can even put one fan on exhaust and the other on intake for circulation, (4) It has temp control, (5) it has 3 speeds, and on low it's pretty quiet.If I could, I'd take away 1/2 a star for these things: (1) The temp sensor must be toward the outside because it's reading outside temps vs inside - in our room it was 75, outside it was 80, it read 80. (2) They could have made the case smaller to fit smaller windows. When I was trying to find a dual fan that would fit, I saw this came up a lot where other folks on various formats were also looking for a smaller size dual, horizontal window fan. The manufacturer could have designed it to fit a smaller window since I was able to cut down the case with no harm to operation. (3) The remote beeps when you press it, which is annoying when my husband and our little one are trying to sleep and I go to change something.Generally, I would recommend this fan. I paid a little bit more for it than others available, but for the features I think it was worth it.

This fan works well and the remote is an asset. The customer support is outstanding. My wife opened the box and couldn't find one of the support legs. (I think it was there, she just overlooked it.). The seller was contacted and immediately sent replacements. That's great customer service. I recommend this product and seller

I live in an apartment and discovered the AC was dead on a weird, 70+ degree weekend in the middle of January. This thing saved my LIFE! The ability to circulate the air is fantastic and it cooled off my bedroom by at least a good 15-20 degrees so I got some actual sleep. It's a bit noisy but I quite like the "white noise" so it doesn't bother me at all.

I don't know if there is a way to fix this but rain and bugs get through the fan. I wish there was a way to stop cold air from coming through when the fan is off. My best approach outside of removing rhe fan and shutting the window is to turn the exhaust on. I wish there was one more setting below low so that if this is at your head or face you can have a very gentle air flow. My window is a smaller measurement and this fits well. The wings however are flimsy and hard to get whwrw you need them. The over performance is really nice.

Since I smoke indoors during the cold days I like to use this fan for exhaustion. Had it since Jun 23’. It finally gave out and no longer functions. It did its job while operating, but not sure about the longevity of it.

Everything works as it should. Blow in, blowout, mixed, remotes included.
