I have never used this brand before so I decided to give it a try. I used it on our neighborhood swim team towels and it worked great. It was just the right thickness to place on a plush towel, not too thin, not too thick, and was easily removed after stitching. Highly recommend this product! Will be purchasing again and looking into this brand for my other embroidery needs.

I've purchased this stabilizer (same item, same brand, same listing) 4 separate times and I am almost positive it has been different every single time. All of them have been just fine for my uses but just a solid warning that what you order once may not be what you get in the future. This round is more plasticky and slippery whereas in the past it's been more soft/flexible with more texture on it. I haven't tried this one yet but it just surprised me it was completely different.

This light weight wash away is the perfect topper for my embroidery. The price is good and I cannot tell the difference with a more expensive topper. I never have issues with removing it.

Works perfect on towels and easy to remove without washing

Just what I needed, it worked Absolutely wonderful!!! I will definitely, purchase again. The second picture, was stitched without the water stabilizer, and the first picture, was stitched with the water soluble stabilizer. What an amazing, difference, in the two.

Listen, it works just okay. I got it to draw out the pattern for some nice cursive writing so that I could embroider my families names onto our Christmas stockings this year, but the stockings are dark and I didn’t have anything that would mark them. And unfortunately I was out of solvy lol. This barely did the trick. It’s see through so like, idk how helpful I thought it would be? So if you’re getting this because you need to see a pattern on top of dark fabric, it’s going to be almost completely ineffective. I made it work though. It tacked on fine, stretched a little bit but I just adjusted my placement as I went and pulled it tighter here or there, I didn’t just cut it out with my needle as I stitched, like that one reviewer said. The issue I did run into, though, is that in order to be able to see the pattern I had to use a bright coloured fine liner, and I stitched with cream coloured floss. (I know I’m an idiot already) So when I dissolved the stabilizer the bright ink bled into my stitch work. Luckily my mom is old as hell and used to wash her laundry in a river or whatever and has taught me how to remove a stain from anything so I made it work but like, just keep that in mind. So if you are okay with potentially getting stains out and stitching onto what essentially feels like crafty cling wrap, and your project isn’t too dark or your eyesight is like, okay, or you’re just really good at kind of messing up but making it work for you in the end then this will probably work for you.
