Well worth the money, great product
Great product for my terrariums at a good price. The customer service is great. The delivery company lost the charcoal on route, so after 4 days of waiting I contacted the seller and they sent another out straight away! Which I thought was marvellous of them. It only took another 2 days to arrive so I am well happy. I've been using the charcoal, nice small pieces, which is what I wanted. I will use seller again.

Does what it is supposed to do.
Great product. For me, I wish it came in different sizes, at least a coarser grade for my orchids and Hoyas since orchids and Hoyas love v chunky mix. This is a fine grade charcoal, in small pieces, and fall through the bottom of the plant pots which is oftentimes the best places to put it to prevent root rot. I’ve bypassed this by putting them on plastic disposable glasses and poking small holes in the bottom. Otherwise I can’t fault this product in anyway. It’s not dusty, it prevents root rot and fungus, etc.

Great for potted plants
This is the second batch of this product I have purchased. I use it in my own soil mix for Schlumbergera and Epiphyllum/Disocactus, along with coconut coir, proprietary cactus & succulent mix, perlite/pumice, orchid bark and a small amount of worm castings. So far, so good. I also use it in my own dessert cactus mix with the same components, but in different ratios. The size of the pieces of charcoal make it good for potted plants - some of my plants are in 3" pots, as they are recently rooted cuttings. I would recommend this product.

just as expected in performance... good transaction
I was unaware that this was a 'composite' material, and not simply pure 'active charcoal', but nevertheless, it is perfect for the terarium I have, and for which it was intended. I would use it again, and from this supplier, too, as it was good value.

Good so far.
I used to mix with compost for pots with no drainage holes in when reporting my succulents in the summer. They seem to be thriving.

An essential cleansing item for my Aroid potting mix.
An essential cleansing item for my Aroid potting mix. As well as acting as a cleansing agent it is a stable edition, helping to aeriate the soil, and therefore preventing root rot, the worst nightmare for Aroid growers. The delivery was well on time, the price is right and my dealings with the support team most enjoyable.

Good price and good size but high shipping cost to Ireland
Very happy with my purchase. The charcoal is coarse, which is great. The price is also pretty good compared to the other brands I could see. It is too early to say if it is a good charcoal, bu to be honest charcoal is charcoal ... so once the price is good and the bits are coarse I am happy :) It is good so it also ads drainage. The only downside is the shipping cost to Ireland, it is a bit ridiculous that it is the same amount as the product itself.
