Train - Blue

Wonderful product! My son has the helicopter, plane, fire truck, Submarine, seacopter, along with three cars. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and durability of these products! They are great for younger to older children, truly! As well, they are made off recycled milk cartons, which is awesome for the 🌍, considering how much wasted plastic is used on millions of toys thrown away each year. The train is adorable! You don’t need a track set-up, which is nice and two conductors come with the three car train. Children can practice problem solving skills by determining what can fit and be carried in the box car. It’s lots of fun and I keep buying more because I am so pleased. The prices are also very reasonable. Excellent job, ‘Green Toys’!

I should start out by saying I love Green Toys - I found this company because I prefer to buy items that are made in the USA - but I look for them because they are Amazing in quality and they last forever. I have children in the house every day and we have had this toy forever, but I love to buy it as a gift, it is durable and simple without a lot of pieces but it’s true that kids still love the simple things, it encourages their imagination - This comes packaged nicely and is easy to wrap - you could end up introducing someone to a great brand and not only is it made in the USA but it is made from recycled plastics.

Our son LOVES trains, and the train he had been playing with was completely falling apart. It had jagged edges and small pieces breaking off. We bought this train as an alternative. We have a boat and airplane from Green Toys, and this was similar in its quality. The packaging is minimal and easy to open and recycle. The toy itself is super sturdy, has a great texture for holding on and pushing it around the house. The toy bear conductors are cute, and they fit on any car, including in the engine. I like that the roof of the caboose comes off and can be moved to the flat car. These things make it fun to play with and use your imagination. He was so excited to get the new train, and he's been preferring it over the old one! Success!

Perfect for indoors, or on the beach. For a train obsessed child, we build a track and then use the train on it, particularly on the beach.

These are the most awesome and coolest toys ever! They are so sturdy and well made, it is hard to believe they’re made from recycled materials and in the USA!!! They’re such a great size and so fairly priced. Our 2.5 year old absolutely loves them and they’ve all withstood him throwing them, crashing them, leaving outside in the weather, thrown down basement stairs, etc. Never tarnished, broken, molded or anything! Great company and toy! Highly recommend for all toddlers and kids as these won’t be quickly outgrown. Also love that they have colors for all kids to enjoy!

This train set seems very sturdy and well put-together, and was easy to remove from packaging and wash. The wheels seem to be rolling really well on both carpet and tile. The pieces were easy for my child to figure out how to put together and take apart, and it's a huge bonus that the caboose has connectors on both ends, so it can be in the middle of the train, as well as at the end of the train. The lid for the caboose removes easily, since it just sits on top, but stays on better than expected. The little engineer bears, which are hollow and open on the bottom, are nevertheless quite sturdy. They fit inside the engine, the flatbed, and the caboose. Also, Fisher Price Little People figures fit into the center of the caboose, with the lid on. (Height comparison: the bears come up to the jawline of our Little People figures.) This is an excellent thing, as it means the toy can be played with in more ways. All in all, this is a really fun train set, so far. I would have given it 5 stars except for the one negative: the cars come uncoupled very easily from the back of the engine. (The coupling peg needs just a little more height to fix the problem.) This happens even more when someone pushes on the back of the engine, or rolls the train on a carpeted surface. I'm waiting with dread for the moment it starts to really frustrate my child. If they fix the issue with the engine's coupler, I would be interested in buying a second train (different color), to add more cars and bears into the mix. Edit 9/14: I contacted Green Toys corporate to let them know about the coupler issue, and they were very cordial, and said they will be modifying the post to be taller.

My 2 year old loves this. I love that it's simple and helps him use his imagination. It's well made. He uses the open train car to transport whatever he can find.

A lot of toys now a days are cheaply made and don’t last long. These green toys remind me of the older days when toys were built to last. I’ve had a few of these toys and the quality is still excellent and I have not had a single one break!! We decided to buy a bunch of green toys for my son’s “presents” when he fills out his potty chart!

My 2.5yr loves this train, easy for him to put together when it comes apart and it’s made from 100% recycled bottles which is a bonus

Was a Christmas gift for my 3yr old and both he, and my 8yr old, were super excited about it. It's a large, sturdy, and well-designed toy train that you can easily "couple & uncouple" and put toys inside to transport! It's super cute and I do appreciate the rustic, recyclable packaging and that the toy itself is made from recycled materials (milk jugs?)
