I can buy the pro plan on Amazon for just about the amount I would pay for purina one at the grocery store. The texture is softer and smells like real food. My dogs love it.

My 2-year old Cockapoo was just not all that interested in food… he was going a full day or longer without touching his dry food, not because he didn’t like it or it made his tummy upset- he just was disinterested. It got so bad that he was throwing up bile on a regular basis from having an empty stomach, so I couldn’t just let it be. I was constantly adding things to his food to make it more interesting to him, like meat or treats or whatever, but I can’t do that for every meal (!!) so his vet recommended buying these and adding a few spoonfuls to his kibble instead. Well, I am thrilled… he has never eaten more steadily in his life. He LOVES his food when I add some of this to it. Licks the bowl clean every time. We’ve tried the beef/rice, chicken/rice, turkey/sweet potato, and chicken/carrot recipes, and they were all a hit. I highly recommend these for finnicky dogs or dogs without a huge appetite. They really helped my dog turn things around and become a more regular eater. I’m super grateful.
