This product worked really well for me! I started feeling relief pretty quickly, and by the next day, most of my symptoms were already improving. The ovule is easy to use, and I like that it comes with an external cream to help with itching and discomfort. I also appreciate that it’s a one-day treatment, which makes it super convenient compared to longer treatments. It might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but that’s normal and goes away. Overall, I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for fast and effective relief.

I usually use the Monistat 3-day Treatment. However, I decided to give the 1-day a shot and I do not regret it. A lot of people here and across the internet give horror stories about chemical burns and horrible pain, but I can happily say I didn't experience that. I didn't even have any discomfort at all. Cleared up the yeast infection quickly and wasn't messy like some others claimed. My theory is the horror stories are coming from people with really intense infections, people with severe allergies, and people misdiagnosing themselves with a yeast infection when they actually have BV or an STI. Mine was a very minor infection, it wasn't even in the itching or burning phase yet, only an odor of yeast and some yeast-y white discharge. Catching it quick is the most important when using Day-1 treatment, I personally believe. I simply used the cream and inserted the ovule before bed and slept like a baby. I wore a pad just incase as it is recommended on the directions, but it didn't seem all that necessary. Discharge was very minimal. I recommend this if you are certain you have a history of yeast infections, have used Monistat products before (so you know you aren't allergic) and if your infection is in the earliest stage. Works great, and saved me another trip to the Gyno. If you have an active yeast infection that is already itchy and painful, do not use this product. Consult a doctor first or try the 7-day or 3-day treatment instead, as they are less likely cause any issues. Otherwise, definitely get the Day-1 treatment. Hopefully I can get my hormones in order and I wont have to buy this product again next month right before my period, but if I do, I'll definitely be buying this product again.

This works! Buuuut brace yourself for the most uncomfortable extreme itchy burn of your life for the first 3 hours!!! Feels like a billion fire ants internally screaming!!!! Nothing will cool it down- cold press, cool water, wipeys- NOTHING! But once it’s over you’ll feel a million times better. Day 2 only mild symptoms.

This is for 2015. I’m just now recovering to get to it. I have never known true suffering until I used Monistat 1. The moment I inserted that tiny suppository, I felt what can only be described as the wrath of an angry deity coursing through my body. Fire. Pure, unrelenting fire. I imagine this is what it feels like to be a medieval witch tied to the stake. Joan of Arc? Amateur hour. Within hours into my slumber, my soul began bargaining with higher powers. Saints, angels, my ancestors—I called upon them all. The pain radiated so deeply that I started recounting every bad decision I’d ever made, convinced this was my punishment. If childbirth is the miracle of life, this was its unholy twin, the Anti-Labor. I swear I saw the Virgin Mary in the corner of my room, shaking her head like, “Damn, girl.” At one point, I blacked out and woke up to find my cat staring at me in terror, as if I had become something else—something other. I considered calling 911 but knew they’d just laugh when I explained that my coochie had been set ablaze by an over-the-counter medication. And yet… after enduring the inferno, the purge, the dark night of the soul—I woke up yeast-free. It worked. Would I do it again? Absolutely not. I’d rather let the yeast fester and start a small artisanal bread business in my underwear. But did it work? Oh yeah. Satan himself may have held my hand through the process, but I came out the other side victorious. A little traumatized, a little changed, but victorious.

If you start your period while on this DO NOT USE TAMPONS , THIS PRODUCT CONTINUES TO WORK FOR A FULL 7 DAYS. I bought this because I didn’t want to use a 3-day or 7-day treatment. The dosage is very strong. I inserted it around 12 PM, and by 6 PM the tablet had clearly dissolved and was working at full strength. For the first 6 hours, everything felt fine. But once the leakage began, I experienced a burning and itching sensation unlike anything before—it was intense enough that I had to rinse with cold water. From what I’ve learned, this reaction is actually normal. It’s caused by the infection being pushed out, which irritates the skin. Over the next few days, the internal itching improved quickly. By days 3–4, the internal symptoms were mostly gone, but my labia stayed itchy and dry until around day 4. That made sense since any leakage touches that area first. I also happened to start my period that same day. The instructions recommend avoiding tampons for at least 7 days, so I stuck with pads while the treatment worked. Now it’s day 5, and I finally feel completely fine. So yes, this product does work. Just be aware: some women may go through a rough patch with the burning and itching in the beginning. That’s usually a sign the medicine is doing its job, and it will calm down.

Heyo, So I have a copper IUD and sometimes I get funky flare ups of either BV / UTI / Yeast. If you didn't know, having a copper IUD your chances of getting something funky is increased. Sadly the doc bills rack up. After I finished my medication for Yeast I still felt funky, I waited a few days just to be sure. The big trigger for me knowing it's Yeast was that I was itchy, super itchy. Like I woke up at 2 am itchy to order this. Well me at 2 am did not read the reviews, and if I did I probably wouldn't have gotten it. It was at my doorstep before 11 am (I really just wanted anything fast to make this stop - thanks for the fast shipping Amazon!) Alright so I have it. Now what? How do I insert this? Cue the doom scrolling on Amazon reading reviews. Here's my tips 1. Insert it laying down. You'll feel some light pressure like if the egg thing will fall out when you walk around, you'll be okay. Just be careful when you pee, don't push at all. Let it all flow. 2. Right when you insert, take pain killers. I took 2 pills both 800 mg ibuprofen. (I think this is why I felt 0 burning) 3. I felt an internal itch / tingle? (This came around 2 hr later) It wasn't terrible, just I couldn't get comfortable sitting down. More of an annoyance. 6/10 on the scale. But I went to bed put on a heated blanket and honestly it dropped to a 2/10. I'm sitting normally now with the blanket on me. 4. Wear a pad or panty liner. You'll feel a bit of "moist" moments. Like you're on your period and you sneezed. I thought it wouldn't be bad but when I got up to pee, I was thankful for the pad. 5. The box says this, I'm just emphasizing this, if you're doing this during your period (me, I'm starting it tomorrow) do not use tampons. Use pads. I'm actually pretty sad about this one, I mainly use tampons for periods but I read and trust instructions on a box. I'm not saying this will make YOUR experience exactly like mine. Each body is DIFFERENT. But be positive and optimistic that you're doing this for you to be better. Yes it's scary seeing all the bad reviews. Trust me I was also freaking out.
