Cocoon Pouch (Foliage Green),Small

A simple floppy pouch. Its basically a military grade pencil case with molle. I use it for sunglasses and has some room to spair inside. Has a clip to keep it folded when not in use too. Maxpedition's fabric is consistent across all their products! If you get a foliage green backpack (falcon III) and pouch (cocoon) they will match eachother! Great company! Great product!

These pouches are great. I have my Proshot cleaning kit in one along with some other cleaning supplies. The cocoon makes for a nice, compact cleaning kit.

As small as this item is, is expands like a mini duffel bag to hold whatever you might throw in it. The bottom of the inside is flat and lined with a tough, rubbery lining like the outside bottom of some of Maxped's backpacks. This is a great size for an add-on for quick-use items like a headlamp and some batteries, since it isn't noticable and can hold quite a bit.

Perfect for a small tool case or ultimately durable pen case. Well thought out attachment options: spring hook, Molle, snap lock strap hook.

Surpspringly lightweight construction for Maxpedition. To some extent the lightweight construction is welcome - not everything needs to be capable of having a rapelling rig hanging off of it. Just know it's very well built - but is a tad thinner than what you'd think from Maxpedition I think they should have a "lightweight" line and put this in it. Then you have a perhaps more knowing choice. That said - it's going on the side of my Sitka - and I like it so far.

I purchased the Cocoon Pouch to hold my MSR Pocketrocket which is 4 by 4 by 2 inches (not including the orange plastic carry case). The intent is to keep the mini stove in the plastic carry case, but carry it outside of my pack, in the pouch, for quick and easy access. However, with the stove in its plastic case the fit is VERY tight but doable. The cocoon still has room, in length, for matches to light the stove. For my personal needs, it would be nice if the cocoon had just a little more room in way of circumference to fit the stove. But I still give it 5 stars.

I use this to hold my suppressor, and it's a great little bad. Sturdy, easy to open and attachable - it's a bag, and it bags well.

It's smaller than I expected but is very useful for all the knick knacks you take on a camping/portaging trip that you often need quick access to none the less. Its not padded, but its very sturdy, well built, and looks like it will take a beating. It should last a lifetime, even with just average care.
