What a real good peice of gear to have in your PA rack forthe price. I paid more for ack in 2017. For the most part guitarist, bassist, drummers, keys and vocalist have a sound we like. Getting that sound to sound good in every room is the goal. IMO it takes more than the a GOOD ear, standard EQ tweaks, a PA and the right overheads subs. Bands/musicians tend to over EQ there sound unintentionally and frequencies xlash and cancel each other out. The sound guy compensates with his mix, its like multiplying and dividing instead of adding and subtracting. Some rooms are bigger, some smaller, some have a stage, higher ceilings, some with sheet rock or acoustic tiling, theres wood panel walls or standard sheet rock. Though experience sound guys can get a decent sound not every band has a sound guy handy. Most bands these days manage there own sound. This is were the Ultracurve comes in. Dont be fooled by the low price. I thought I was pretty good at mixing my bands sound until I installed the DEQ2496 in my PA to help speed things up as well. When I mixed my first few rooms with it, I got that smile you get when you know it sounds real good. Thats all I expect now at every gig and so does everyone else. Get a good measuring mic! The Ultracurves Auto Eq analyzer use white noise frequencys to eq the room flat which is what you want to start with. The band brings there sound up and you tweak it from there if need be. The auto eq analyzer is one part, there's the compressor, expander limiter, parametric EQ, feedback destroyer, stereo imaging, dynamic compressor, time correction solutions everything you need to master your end sound. There is a learning curve but nothing that good is ever that simple at first. There's YouTube demo videos to help you, so watch, read and follow instructions and be patient. Practice a few setups in your home or studio. Once you learn how to use your DEQ2496 save those gig settings for the next time or use the settings for similar rooms. It's all worth it IMO if your serious about your bands sound. The DEQ2496 will give you an edge and get club owners to notice that you sound better than the other bands. Good Luck...

Purchased for use in small demo studio. A few years ago Behringer used to be AKA for cheap and nasty but lots of "nice" flashing lights. Times have changed. Behringer's keen pricing has obviously let them achieve some volume and economies of scale despite the tough economy, which they've clearly ploughed back into R&D. This unit is extremely easy to understand and configure. Feature packed, yet easy to navigate menus. I place the unit between desk and monitors using the digital s/p DIF. It is low noise and input/output levels are fully controlable and accurate. The RTA is great for analysing / autocorrecting the listening space and for tweaking different monitor sets, although budget about another 40GBP for the linear measurement mic (sold separately). (The mic is also amazingly linear considering it is around a tenth the price of competing products.) Only minor complaint would be no soft(i.e. muted) shutdown/ startup, which leads to pops and cracks on power-up/down, so a little care is needed to protect amps/ speakers. You can't complain at this price level. A really useful piece of equipment in a semi-pro set-up. Well done B!

Utilisé en Hifi, en entree optique puis sortie en optique aussi sur ampli. En mode parametrique + GEQ rendement optimum, aucune perte de qualité, resultat à hauteur de mes attentes meme plus. Le rendu est bluffant et multiples reglages possibles. Je recommande. Installation avec module bose acoustimass, qualite et precision sonore ultra Hd. Prendre le temps de telecharger la notice sur le net pour reglage, sans quoi il s avere difficile de profiter du produit, le resumé dans la boite largement insuffisant.

Non sono, per mia fortuna, un audiofilo in senso stretto, e mi considero più un melomane. Un audiofilo puro usa la musica per raggiungere l'alta fedeltà, nei casi più gravi definita Hi-End. Un musicofilo ( o melomane ) come me usa l'alta fedeltà ( l'Hi-End personalmente non rientra nei miei obiettivi ) per raggiungere la musica. Per questa mia fortuna non ho mai avuto problemi, di alcuna natura, a considerare l'idea di avere nel mio impianto un equalizzatore, ancora meno se questo equalizzatore è digitale e di buon livello. Per farla breve, ora ho nel mio impianto ben due di questi oggetti, e non tornerei mai indietro, anzi, mi chiedo come si possa farne a meno.
