D'AddarioNHR030 Half Round Bass Guitar Single String, Long Scale, .030

I’ve bern using and loving these D’addario half rounds on my fretless basses for a long time now. Recently got a 5 string and realized they do not market a complete set in medium gauge (50-130). This single solves my problem (at an added expense - heads up D’addario!) added to the 50-105 set. Much preferred over the 45-125 set.

I combined this with the D'Ad. ENR72 half-rounds on my G&L Tribute L-2500. I like the high tension. The string still needs to break in some, but it is settling into a very nice smooth tone.The feel is great. The old, original round-wound really dug into my fingers and was very floppy. Much better now.There is a great review by Garth Fielding on u-tube. That's what sold me on the strings. I would say it's a very accurate review.

D'addario makes good bass strings. Item arrived on time and packaged properly. Happy.

Best bass strings on the market, incredible long lasting tone... my go to strings for over 25 years!

Its a guitar string

NB: PURCHASED USED. This single-string bargain was in fact just a roundwound, which totally defeats the point of buying a single low-B sting expecting a half-round. I suggest the person who "inspected" this and the vendor be spoken to. I have had good luck with warehouse strings, but this was a dud.The actual d'Addario half-rounds are perfecly OK, just this annoying anomaly.
