Creepy Creatures (Goosebumps Graphix)

A great Goosebumps book!

I purchased three of the Goosebumps Graphix books for my seven year old. She’s really gotten into some of the other graphic type books like Baby Mouse, Smile/Sisters, etc., so I thought with that combined with her interest in anything spooky she may enjoy these. She read all three in one day and even read one twice. She said that they were scary but they didn’t seem to give her nightmares or be over the top. Great books for those who are still a little young for the traditional Goosebumps books.

My first grader loves this book. He has not put it down since he got it.

My boys loved this book. Came in timely because I purchased it right before Halloween. It's more cartoon like but who cares given that it's reading at the end of the day.

Very good 5 stars good best story was the scarecrow for sure. The best goosebumps book I have read is Haunted Mask.

Interesting stories if you pay attention to the word abridged. While the editing is done well it changes the story so is not suitable for a school book report.

Didn't realize it actually has three separate novels in it! I got three times my money's worth!

I would have loved these as a kid. As an adult they're still fun, and I got the super nostalgic feels about reading the original series when I was a kid. My one complaint is that I didn't love the art choices here, but I didn't dislike it enough to quit reading. I'd also forgotten how useless and unhelpful adults tend to be in Goosebumps books, but that's not really a complaint, just an observation.My favorite of these was "The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight." It had the most realistic art of the three, and I love a good creepy scarecrow story. But all three were entertaining. Like the books it's based on, this would be a great introduction to horror for a child who doesn't want anything too scary.Warning for dog death in the abominable snowman story.
