These are excellent! If they were 20-30" longer they'd literally be perfect.
These are excellent! I have talked crap about geared lifting for my entire life, but after a stupid mistake (long story) left me with a tear in my right lateral meniscus and a set of rolling squats really made things worse 8 months later... well, I felt like it was worth checking these out. They're a lot cheaper than quality knee sleeves, so I gave these a shot. I watched Andy Bolton's free Youtube video on how to use knee wraps, and from there watched a few other videos. He is one of the strongest men in the world, if you didn't know that, and has deadlifted over 1000 lbs. Not a tire deadlift, a real steel plate deadlift. There's a huge difference. He is a man worth listening to. I then watched a few other videos, and felt confident I knew enough to try these out. I mentioned length in the header of this review because these are NOT as long as the hardcore wraps that many competitive powerlifters and olympic lifters use. I don't wrap as tightly as Andy does, but man... these things really add a lot of stability to the knee. They don't do any work for you, at least the way I wrap, but the added stability allows me to hit depth (and then some) without any pain at all, either during the workout or in the hours and days afterwards. That's really important to me. When your meniscus is damaged your knee is destabilized, and it is stupid to squat with an unsupported damaged meniscus. I find that I can maintain good squat form for more reps with these, and end up doing a lot more work. As a result, I have gotten stronger when I lift without the wraps as well. I know this because I always do my whole warm up and my first working set without the wraps, and put them on for the last four working sets, and the improvements do carry over. Something to know about wraps: It doesn't matter what brand you get, you are going to get an insane "pump" in your lower leg. It will be very uncomfortable, especially in later sets, but you will not get hurt. It is literally just transient pain due to partial occlusion, and as long as you don't wear them longer than 10 minutes you won't have any issues. I only take 60s rests between sets, so this is not a concern for me. If you take 4-5 minute rests you will probably want to take these off between sets, at least every other set, but in the end that is up to you. Knee sleeves are nice because you can just pull them down after your set is finished, preventing the tightness of the "pump" from building up in your lower legs, but the only sleeves worth using (from what I have heard from strongman competitors and strong lifters) are the blue scandinavian ones that are like 45 or 70 dollars for a pair. You'll know them when you see them. Personally, I'll stick with these. They work fantastically well, are easy to store, and are incredibly affordable.

Great, lighter duty knee wraps
Update, Oct 2013: I still have the same pair of wraps I bought two years ago and just bought a second set to keep in my car. Still love em. Still holding up well. Over the passed two years I've realized that I get extra poundage out of these wraps because my knees are stable - not from additional elasticity. I can slam depth and keep my knees tracking properly without my loose joints complaining and shifting the load; pitching me forward. Any time I ditch them in an effort to "go full raw" I regret it. They provide little more "bounce" than a set of one-size-too-small neoprene sleeves but are much more convenient (and cheaper). These are a must for me now when handling higher volumes. I still recommend them highly. --- These are exactly what I was looking for! They are relatively light wraps, certainly stiffer than ace bandages or something but not an add-75lbs-to-your-squat powerlifting wrap. I'm not a powerlifter and definitely don't wear suits to squat but these help my squat out tremendously. Not only by supporting my knees and giving me a little bounce out of the hole but also by helping, miraculously, to keep my knees shoved out throughout the lift. I wrap these medium-tight and my legs never tingle or hurt even in 12-20 rep sets. I'd highly recommend these to anyone thinking of getting some wraps. Don't think about it, don't listen to the 100% raw haters who squat less than you do, just buy these, wrap up, and do work!

Great, economical wraps. Have held up well for me and allows me to lift heavier with my 46 year old knees
Had these for 6+ months now and are still holding up well. The elastic hasn't given out at this point so very happy with them. Nice, economical knee wraps. They do what they need to do, protect my knees when squatting. I'm 46 and, after squat day, I would have a fair amount of knee discomfort for a couple days after, even when using light weight and strict form. I started using these and from day one, my squat weight increased due to the wraps taking the strain off my knees. No discomfort afterwards either. One big lesson for me was to unwrap after each lift. Get the circulation back before re-wrapping for the next set.

These just work.
These are what you want. These are similar to what I used when I was powerlifting/weight training. No velcro, just nice, thick knee wraps.

Unless you are competing in the world's strongest man, these should be fine
I've been bodybuilder/ power lifter for almost 15 years, and as I start to age, I feel the need to start protecting my knees a little more. For the longest I was a knuckle head and would do heavy squats or presses raw. I have used several wraps over the past few years and some are certainly better than others, but these are in no way bad. They offer the same protection that some of the "elite wraps" out there. They are well made and have good elasticity as they should. Its fair to say that if you are looking for good support, these wraps are great. I read a few negative reviews saying that these wraps were pretty much worthless, and think its because they reviewers didnt really know how to use them. Unless you are doing 800+ lbs squats, these offer good protection and for a fraction of the cost of the "professional ones"

Best Wraps for the Price
I was unsure but other reviewers couldn't be wrong? Right? Well this was one of my better purchases. They provide a lot of protection and support when doing heavy squats and leg presses. The elasticity is decent and are made extremely well. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a very good set of knee wraps at a reasonable price. Also for people using knee wraps for the first time I would recommend looking up "APT Knee Wrap Tutorial Technique" and trying out which style you like at home before hitting the gym.

Wow! The quality of these knee wraps are amazing. Definitely, the best pair of wraps I've ever used. The material is really wonderful and it feels great on the skin. When you squat with them on, it makes you feel like there's no pain at all. So, I highly recommend them if you are either feeling discomfort when you squat or if you are looking to increase weight. The wraps provide excellent protection & will help to keep you injury free. Plus they're super cheap :D On a side note, My knees aren't very large but, it fits me perfectly. So, for those of you with a larger "knee area," it will probably be harder for you to wrap. Cap Barbell HHSA-CB020 Knee Wraps
