Pentosin 1204204 Corrosion Resistant Super Dot 4 Brake Fluid; 5 Liter

I have my own BMW only repair shop so I go through a lot of brake fluid doing brake flushes. It gets a bit expensive to keep buying in the 1 liter bottles so I began looking for options and came across this Pentosin 5 liter container and when adding it up is a big savings and a great product. I have been using Pentosin products for many years and is an oem supplier of fluids for BMW so it is the correct fluid for BMW and most German cars on the market.

In fairness this may be great fluid but I wont know until I get one from a sealed container. Believe it or not I just received my third gallon. No, I’m not a mechanic nor do I own a small fleet of cars. All three delivery containers were leaking fluid and none of the boxes had any structural damage. Brake fluid is extremely hydrophilic. So much so that it absorbs water from the air. The containers should be sealed and apparently they are not or not sealed correctly. Furthermore the packaging is insufficient. I didn’t think I’d ever say that given Amazon’s reputation for shipping a toothbrush in a 2’ x 3’ box, boxed again, retail packaging, and all floating in a sea of foam peanuts. It’s a gallon jug of automotive brake fluid shipped on a box nearly the same size with no padding to guard against a fall. At the very least it should have been shipped upright instead of laying in its side. And finally, why or how did the handler not notice the box which was sopping wet each time it was delivered. THREE SEPARATE SHIPMENTS!!! Pentosin, check your containers Amazon, your shipping department needs training

Its break fluid, needed this for my Mercedes best price for alot. Nothing more to say.

Too much fluid if you only have one car, open containers have a very short shelf life. I did flush on 3 cars perfect very little left going t waste.

This is the correct fluid for a Land Rover LR3 and many other vehicles that require super Dot 4
