I'm a landlord remodeling a house and needed to install t-bar pulls on the new cabinets. After years of marking all the holes by hand or making custom jigs out of scrap wood, I finally decided to try buying an adjustable hardware jig. Most of these jigs are designed to use 5mm bits, so I ordered this brad point bit to use with it. I don't need a bunch of metric brad point bits, so being able to purchase a single low-cost high-quality bit to keep with the jig was perfect for me. The bit performed well for the 60 or so holes I had to drill, most in maple and a few in MDF. The bit was straight with a sharp brad point that made it easy to precisely mark the location of the hole using the jig. Holes were clean and round, with no tear out so long as a backer board was used. The bit I received is NOT made in Austria as the listing title currently displays and is not stamped with the Fisch logo. Th packaging is branded as Fisch, being made in China based on their design and specifications. The listing should be corrected, but at my time of purchase this bit was less than $3 with Prime next day shipping. I expected as much. It worked well and the bit that came with my jig was a joke so I am a happy customer.

Excellent quality tooling. You definitely get what you pay for. It's worth spending the extra money if you want clean scoring to start every hole. I bought a 29 piece fractional FISCH brad point drill bit set (1/16" - 1/2") and only needed this 14mm metric one for drilling holes in wood for 14mm bolts.

These Brad Point drill bits cut through wood, MDF, and acrylic like a breeze. The beveled edge makes drilling fast and easy, and they stay sharp after multiple uses. Definitely worth it!

The drill bits are sharp, straight, and accurately sized. The plastic case is fragile and holds the bits so tightly that I put on leather gloves to avoid getting cut when I need to pry a bit out of the case.

So happy to find a brad point bit this size. I needed it for a woodturning pen kit and it did the job perfectly. Seemed sharp and made the correct size hole!!!

This bit is sharp and cuts a true 14mm hole rather than a 9/16 like most of the ones advertised as 14mm. I would definitely order these again.

These are great. After borrowing one from a coworker I picked up a couple for drilling shelf pins and drawer slides. These are perfect for anything using a 5mm Euro screw. Sharp, no runout, nice little storage/protector tube, centered brad point. Good price, great function. I'll be back for more in the future.

As a self proclaim, Miss Bob the builder I love this drill. I had a small tree stump that I’ve needed to put holes in, and it worked very well.

These vits are great quality and are very capable in hard woods. They drill stright and holes are round and smooth.

These give you the accuracy needed to install drawer/cabinet handles without causing a mess. Brad point holds the drill bit tight to the surface and no wobble or taking out surface splinters.
