Excellent for use around the house. They can be set extremely dim, making them a perfect night light in the restroom. Or they can be used for reading with a gooseneck USB arm mounted on the wall. They're also good to take camping because you can plug them into a power bank and get very good area lighting. The touch response is excellent. They do get a bit hot on high mode so just know that.

WOW! Completely satisfied with my purchase of these lights. They produce incredible light despite their tiny size. The touch interface is intuitive and easy to control to any brightness setting. They will flip up or down in any USB port. Every light I received has performed flawlessly. These things are more handy than I thought they'd be. I'd recommend them to anyone looking to brighten up the space around their PC, plug-ins, or anywhere you might need the handiness of illumination. Also great to keep in your PC toolbox if you often work on other peoples PCs. Can't say enough about the quality and design. All around a great deal and an outstanding product!

Awesome little lights. Perform flawlessly although wish they stayed a little cooler during operation. I use them as accent lights in my in wall aquarium and they look great. The company sent me the newer model , shorter, and better heat sink . Tougher material. Dimming and brightening are a breeze. Use one as a nightlight for my daughter and facing down doesn't blind you , but lights the way. These are very bright at a great cost and easy to have lights anywhere. Overall great buy. Will buy more soon.

really didn't expect these to be this bright, but they are. 6 really bright LED on a thin wafer. just stick it into any USB battery or power supply. works inserted in either direction too. i considered other usb led lights but these seem to have the most potential as a backup light. didn't think i needed the dimmable feature, but it turns out to be handy if you want to extend the battery life. the wafer gets warm, but so far it hasn't gotten hot. metering is just to show these are pretty bright. dark room with only this wafer as the light source. my only small con with this is it is too sensitive to any touch. brush it with your finger & it turns off. doesn't matter if it's on the front, side edge or back. no switch, just touch any surface & it goes off. i would rate it 5 stars if they made the touch area only on the very top. that way if i carry it it doesn't keep going off accidentally as you wave it around.

These USB LED sticks are a really cool idea. Uses I've Found: - fun to play with - throw one (or multiple) in a USB battery and you have a light brighter than most flashlights - put one in an old < 1A an cell phone USB brick (you know you've got a couple of these lying around) for a slim, cheap night light - when added to the end of a USB extension cable, it makes pretty cool under-cabinet lighting - plug into you laptop's USB port for some extra desk lighting Usage (since never defined well in the product description): 1. Tap the back and it turns the LEDs on and off. The LEDs will "fade in" to the set brightness when turned on and "fade out" when turned off. 2. When the back is long pressed, it dims or brightens the LEDs. Long press once and it brightens. Long press a second time and it dims (... and so on). For the record, I purchased these myself from Amazon, and was *NOT* provided them in return for a review.

I'm using these for accent lighting around my L-Shaped desk and so far I'm very pleased with the functionality and the light output of these little devices. All of my power strips and desktop power hub has high output USB ports that supports the proper amperage for these interesting little devices. Note: Lights will flicker if USB ports are lower than 2 Amps. Turning on these light requires just a tap and to use the dimmer function requires you to just lightly hold your finger down on the smooth side and release when you have reached the desired light output. After powering these off, the brightness level will remain the same when you turn them back on.

Just how simple, small, bright and light this is is incredible!! Sooo much light, perfect for the trail or the car or anywhere, I ordered a multi pack of usb extension cables with these and man I just think they’re perfect for that spot you can see but can get a flashlight in there! Haha btw, you tap your finger to turn on or off or hold it to dim or brighten it, took me a minute to figure that out lol

Works as a USB Light but there are a few flaws. The light would flicker at medium brightness in the beginning but would start flickering at any brightness level after ten minutes of it being on. Another flaw is that the unit would get really hot to the touch if you left it on for a while. Mines started getting hot to the touch when using it at ~60% brightness for 20 minutes, luckily you do not have to touch it that long to shut it off and let it cool down. This is not good for people who want to use this as a night light or plan on using the light for more than 30 minutes. This USB light is bright but it comes at the cost of the PC board heating up quicker than it can handle in terms of heat dissipation. Another flaw is that the PC board is exposed so you have to be careful with how you handle it, but it is nice to be able to see the circuitry. The last flaw is a minor one and that is that it can only be face up or down, depending on how your power source is configured. All in all, it is OK as a light, but only for short term unless you want to risk it overheating.
