The Archery Drill Book Review: My Go-To Archery Drill Book - If you are an archery coach, I highly recommend this book! I have a lot of books and "drills" I've collected over the years, however, this book remains a favorite. From the start, one thing I really like is that this book is geared toward both compound and recurve archery. With most of my other material, this is not really the case, and you have to either pick and choose or attempt to combine things to make your own stuff. Another reason this is one of my go-to resources is the fact this drill book addresses a lot of common issues we see as coaches. It gives you really practical solutions to these, which are easy to understand and employ. Some of the other material I have tends to "go into the woods" with form and theory, and I find that harder to decipher and translate to the archers. You do get some of theory with this book, but it's more practical in my opinion. It even covers the "mental" components of archery - it's just an all-around great resource. I highly recommend this book! Review: Unique and valuable for archers and coaches - This is an extremely practical and solution oriented book. Many other books elaborate on the correct form or the optimal technique, but leave it to the reader to determine how to get there or how to correct suboptimal technique. In contrast, this book jumps right into practical remedies to common problems. The theory is briefly explained, but the focus is on creating solutions to problems through specific drills or exercises. The reader will understand the ideal form, how to identify if common problems relative to that ideal, and ways to remedy the problem. Every page is that simple and direct. Also uncommon is that both compound and recurve are covered. There is even a section on problems related to mental state. I would go as far as to state that for many who are completely new to archery, this book of drills is more useful than a stack of other archery theory books. Yet, there is plenty here for the experienced club archer and coach. This incredibly direct and clear approach to archery is too rare.

Helps you determine the best "form" for your body
I've been following the drills in this book for a year and it is my go-to resource for diagnosing and fixing problems. Drills are tailored for compound, traditional, or recurve shooting. Each drill comes with a "signs it is needed" paragraph, which helps you to correct problems you've identified. I particularly like the first chapter, which goes through the shot sequence step-by-step and helps you determine which variation -- and how much -- is best for your skeleton, such as stance. This is invaluable for archers with skeletal changes from growth, pregnancy, or injuries. There is an entire chapter on mental drills, and another chapter on games which you can use as a springboard to create your own challenges. Indispensable for leveling up your skills and keeping motivated when your only option is shooting in your garage.

Practice makes perfect
This book has plenty of useful drills to make you a better archer. It helps identify flaws and offers practical solutions. It’s like having your own coach. Very easy reading.

A valuable resource of tactics to practice on the range
Getting back into archery after a long, long, long, long absence, so I’ve found this book to be a good refresher of the basics for stance, proper draw, and release. A valuable resource of tactics to practice on the range.

Archery book review
This book is very comprehensive for recurve and compound archers. Some of the drills may be a little too advanced for beginners but lays out great fundamentals to build technique.

Old school.
Didn't have as much helpful information as I had hoped. Seemed old school and not up to date with today's new Archery equipment.

In perfetto stile anglosassone, il libro non si dilunga in inutili digressioni ed espone invece in modo conciso ed efficace.
