I've found there are different things that make puzzles difficult beyond just piece count. Image quality and level of detail also play a big part. Thats what makes this a good first 1000 piece puzzle. Image quality and detail allows you to almost put a piece on the board about where it should be just based on the photo. Other puzzles that have large areas of just trees or sky make it much more difficult. I normally do border first, but on this one it was easier for me to work top down first to the roof line, then complete the bottom part of the border and then work my way inward from the sides. Very enjoyable puzzle that is not too hard or too easy.

As western New York natives, my mom and I have been buying and completing Buffalo puzzles for years. We assembled this one in two days. It was appropriately challenging, and we enjoy the “busy” images that Buffalo has to offer, rather than other brands with half of the puzzle consisting of just trees, water, or sky. The included poster is also a game-changer. As we finished it up, we discovered that we were missing one piece. My mom contacted the company and they sent us an entire brand new puzzle within days! Mom fished in the new box for the missing piece and the image was finally completed. Before getting upset over missing pieces - whether it’s your fault they’re lost or the company’s fault - do your research. Buffalo Puzzles has a fantastic replacement policy, and that alone will keep me buying their products. As an aside, the quality of the pieces is excellent; they’re thick and sturdy, lock very nicely together, and the stamping pattern rarely allows you to mistakenly link pieces that don’t go together.

I have a large collection of Buffalo puzzles. Love them all. This one seems much thicker. The backing is white, not cardboard gray. Came in a plastic bag and the box was not glued shut, but rather closed with tape. Second puzzle I purchased like this. Thinking they have new standards - which I like a lot. I’ve previously shied away from puzzles with small multi-colored images, but find them to be quite fun. Not as challenging as one would expect. Part of the fun of puzzling is planning one’s attack. How to sort. What I don’t like are huge swaths of blue sky, brown mountains and green grass. This puzzle won’t disappoint. Adding a picture is the best part of Buffalo Puzzles.

I just did this puzzle two days ago and it was really fun to do. I love Buffalo Games puzzles and buy them all the time. It takes me about 3 to 4 hours to put a 1000 piece puzzle together so I buy a lot of puzzles. Buffalo Games is my absolute favorite because they are sturdy, well priced, have great pictures and have a good variety of 1000 piece puzzles to chose from.

This is our third puzzle from Buffalo. Unfortunately, one puzzle had 6 missing pieces and this one had one missing piece. Quite frustrating. Why is it is difficult to make a puzzle and box it with all the pieces inside?

I enjoyed every minute of putting this jigsaw puzzle together. It is very colorful & exciting!

This puzzle is wonderful. QUALITY I had just done a masterpieces puzzle the day before and I much preferred the quality of this Buffalo Games puzzle. The pieces locked in place much better and didn’t seem as soft. Per usual, the puzzle included a poster for reference. In short, two thumbs up. DIFFICULTY: This was one of the easier puzzles I’ve done in a while. The different areas of the puzzle were easily identifiable, and thus the pieces were easy to sort. And any time there are words or signs in a puzzle it makes it a bit easier. It took one person less than a half a day to complete. So if you’re looking for a stress free, relatively simple puzzle, this is a great choice. I definitely recommend this one. It’s a nice, light puzzle.

We enjoy working on nostalgic puzzles like this one. Buffalo Games puzzles are our favorite puzzles to purchase. Pieces snap and fit together well. Highly recommend.
