OPI GelColor Nail Polish,0.5 fl oz

This is the best polish for people who want durable gel polish, but who aren't good at perfect application. Mistakes are much less obvious due to the pale color. It also looks very professional in my opinion, and can be worn with literally any outfit or in any occasion. As for the OPI Soak Off nails, it's the only type I've been able to get to stick to my nails. The Axxium polish by the same manufacturer is absolutely horrible, and much more difficult to apply. I used this polish with an inexpensive lamp ($50, I believe) and was worried that would effect its adhesion, but there are absolutely no problems there. Just be sure to use alcohol BEFORE the nail bond, and you'll be good to go. Removal: This is the best part. It doesn't peel off unintentionally, nor does it tempt you to pick at at, even during boring meetings or long car rides. When you are ready to remove it though, you simply need to pull a corner up (the tough part) and then it peels off in 1-3 pieces, leaving a healthy nail underneath. Removing it is actually really fun. Not sure why, but it just feels very satisfying. I'm definitely obsessed with OPI soak off, and ESPECIALLY this color.

I got the Big Apple Red gel nail polish today and I immediately put it on using my new gel manicure set. This really is the PERFECT red nail polish, it's a great summer red and I think will also look great around christmas time. I recently purchased the OPI gel top and base coat and this is the 3rd gel manicure I've done myself and it turned out great. Since gel polishes are a bit pricier (I got this bottle for $13.22 which I thought was good for OPI), I'm trying to only buy the colors I know I will use frequently and this red is a great choice. One thing about the red color though is you have to be even more careful not to get it on the skin or it will stain or be hard to get off with remover if you are in the middle of doing your own nails. I also learned quickly that not each layer of polish has to be completely dry before you start the next layer. As long as you cure for appropriate amount of time under UV or LED light each layer, it might feel tacky but once you get that last top coat on and cure then I swab with an alcohol wipe and it's perfect.

This has to be one of my FAVORITE reds. It has a cool undertone but still looks bright for summer. OPI is my favorite get polish brand, the quality in these colors is amazing, quick drying under the lamp and always so shiny!

I saw this color in the ad and ordered it thinking it would be a pink color. When I got the bottle I was very disappointed because it looked completely different from the picture. I should say now, that I always order the regular polish for my toes and the gel for my nails. I decided to give it a try and absolutely LOVE this color!! It does come out pinkish. It's very natural and looks very close to the color of the moons of my nails. I like to keep my nails short, so a color like this gives my fingers lengths. I saw a few reviews where it says that the color doesn't match the nail polish, but for me they match perfectly. The only thing I can think is that people might be reviewing the color before they try it. But I agree that the picture of the color is misleading. Nevertheless, It's a beautiful, classic color.

I'm a nail tech and one of my clients started using the gel polish. My client and reviews online of OPI gel polish tend to shrink or pull back leaving a gap from cuticle to the edge of product. One reviewer said that you have to be extra diligent on cleaning the nail, litterly scrubbing the nail to make sure the surface is completely dehydrated and double use of bond aid with 2min of drying times in-between applications. The method worked with little or no shrinkage. Not all OPI colors shrink I've been told.

This is OPI's #1 best selling polish of all time. The color is perfect! I love their products, and I love the gel polish. It does take some time to apply, but when all is done, it is beautiful! nice and shiny, brilliant red, and long lasting. The color isn't too blue, too black, or too orangey, just a beautiful deep red.
