I've tried these in a genuine controller and a pair of knock-offs (TechKen). They fit fine, and the charger is OK though the cable that comes with it is only about 6" long. Charging takes around 40 minutes from empty which seems impressive... until you find that you get about the same amount of playing time out of them. A pair of AA batteries lasts tens of hours, as do the rechargables I have in my Xbox and PS controllers. These are just not worth it unless you're the kind of person who only plays for half an hour at a time. Given the "party" selling point of the Wii, this isn't any use. Returned, though I will try again (why can't I exchange instead of refund / repurchase?) just on the off-chance I was unlucky. If the second set don't work then I'll just buy a box of regular batteries. [UPDATE] ordered a replacement set and they were, if anything, worse than the ones I returned. Charged them for upwards of 12 hours to be absolutely sure they were full. I then didn't use them for 2 days. While sat in controllers which weren't even switched on they lost charge. One was down to below 50%, and the other was almost zero - it lasted less than 2 minutes before dying. Returned for refund. Again. Avoid these, you're only wasting your time. Unless someone else out there is making a decent set, stick with AA batteries.

Works well for my controller,a little sight to fit in and take out (battery compartment not fitting into the charger) but nothing to get your hair off about

Review update final: As I said below I was unlucky both times and still batteryless :-). but I am increasing rating to 3 stars as I was very impressed with fast response from the seller and a no quibble refund without having to ask. I would have also gone for a third time replacement thinking maybe third time lucky as I feel that it was a coincidence that the batteries didn't work 2nd time. I would buy TechKen again for sure. ..................................... Review update: I got a replacement pack from techken, but the batteries only lasted an hour this time. I would like to commend techken for fast response. I got a new pack within three days of writing to them. Very polite and willing to help. I think I have just been unlucky that I got a bad set of batteries both times. --------------------------- I have some never played Wii games that I wanted to play during lockdown, and realising the original Nintendo batteries had died I bought this techken product after reading seemingly good reviews but my excitement to be reunited with the Wii soon went blah when the batteries didn't work. I charged them up, and I got as far as powering up Wii with one of them, and going as far as loading the game chapter with other and that is it. To then unload the game I had to charge the battery again for a few mins to get a few seconds charge and quickly unload the game. Didn't even get as far as turning off the wii by remote. Just to be sure I put the remotes back on charge on the docking station for a good 24 hours. Then tried but same out come. Then did it again without success. The other things that are wrong is the lights on the docking station are not accurate, the flicker red, blue, red. There is some fidgeting involved to ensure remotes sit correctly on the dock to ensure connection with charging pin. I am also certain I have used the charger correctly. I am sorry for such a low rating but I'm very willing to up this to Max rating if I can get a fully working replacement. I so want to play my will games :-( .
