Q: So if I am to leave this stuff in my hair will it stain or transfer to other surfaces like getting on my pillow, car head rest or grease up the bath?

It won't stain anything. The thing about this pomade is that it's oil based. It's harder to wash off and a huge pain to style your hair with the first couple of weeks. I would recommend using a water based pomade like Imperial or Suavecito instead unless you prefer to only use oil based pomades. Different strokes for different folks.
