You are not prepared for the taste - you will be shocked at how bad the aftertaste is, which makes you shake your head and gag. It's nature's medicine. It's not a tea you can relax and enjoy; it's work to get it down. But I'm drinking it for health for a couple of weeks, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Like another reviewer, I used this for an anti-parasite cleanse. This is Not a soothing, delicious cup of tea like earl gray, jasmine, chamomile or others. It is medicinal. For my cleanse, I was directed to use one bag in a QUART of water and simmer 10 mins. At this ratio, it is a more palatable tasting tea but it is still bitter. If you are looking for a delicious, warm cup of tea, choose another herb.

Ive been having health issues, and recently I've been enjoying teas again so I decided to look for ones good for your health and came upon this. Reviews talked positively and I didn't even think to look at the 1 star ones since It's 4.4 stars, and hearing of the bitter taste made me think that if i just add sugar it will be okay. So it came in the mail. I excitedly got it and made myself tea and let it sit as it was directed so. And added lots of sugar and i mean a lot....... AND IT WAS THE WORST TASTE OF MY LIFE 😭 THE TASTE WONT GET OFF MY TONGUE, I SCRAPED MY TONGUE, DRANK AND WASHED MY MOUTH WITH WATER, IT WONT GO AWAY. I read 1 star reviews about hoe they shared the same experiences, and how it stayed on someones tongue for 2 days and now i fear that my picnic tomorrow I wont be able to enjoy my food. don't get this tea, and if you do please do not expect something delicious and enjoyable. Straight up tastes like POISON. I genuinely can't believe that no matter who and what tastebuds. this cant be good. I'd give this 0 stars if I could.

What really impressed me is how potent the tea feels. You can taste the purity and strength of the wormwood right away. It’s not a mild or ordinary tea—it has a powerful character that makes it stand out from almost every other herbal tea I’ve tried.

I purchased for daily use , it works but I had to add other teas to mask the taste. This is an excellent product consult your physician before use.

The taste is horrible. You have to have a strong stomach for that but they say something that tastes horrible is good for you.

This might actually be one of the worst tasting substances on the planet. Made myself a cup, got all settled into the bathtub and took a sip. No, just no. Whole zen spa ambience shot out. Bitter doesn’t even scratch the surface of how gnarly the flavor is, its next level harsh. If you didn’t know it was an herb you’d think you were drinking carburetor cleaner. This stuff is never going to be any kind of savory or sweet new and unusual acquired taste, I highly doubt theres any getting used to this. That being said, I’m gonna battle it out for the greater good and see if I can find a way to make it more palatable. I’m giving 5 stars because I purchased this for the anti-parasitic benefits and anything that tastes this horrific has got to be killing something.
