Afraid it does not work with the Oculus Quest and Anker USB A to C 3M 3.0 cable recommended on the Oculus website. So do not buy for this purpose. The search continues!

Great connection- no idea what the power element is for

Working well for connecting a heavy duty Yeti USB microphone to my Samsung Galaxy 9S for filming. It requires the 5v power supply because of the power demand of the microphone. Now possible to get crystal clear speech recorded on a mobile phone camera positioned 5 metres away.

I bought two of these. Neither work. Even with the recommended power supply these didn't work with either a) an xp-pen drawing tablet nor b) an oculus quest. And because of the pandemic I can't return them. Don't buy them!

Bought this to extend the Oculus Link cable i had got off here and it works perfect, doesn't even need an extra power supply to work with the Link either. Trattasi di un buon cavo usb-c: consente di controllare a distanza un dispositivo come ad esempio una scheda audio usb o una telecamera. Consiglio l'utilizzo di un alimentatore per alimentare i dispositivi che necessitano di più energia.

Ich habe diese Verlängerung gekauft, um meine Oculus Quest 10 m entfernt von meinem PC zu verwenden, um PC-VR-Spiele spielen zu können. Das Kabel funktioniert einwandfrei, sogar ohne externe Stromversorgung. Dieser muss demnach nicht zwingend dazu gekauft werden. Dennoch habe ich es für ca. EUR 2,- gemacht, weil ich noch testen muss, ob die Oculus Quest den Ladezustand beibehält, sich entlädt oder bei Verwendung sogar auflädt. Dann sollte der Netzstecker helfen. Wichtig: Ich verwende das offizielle Oculus Link Kabel (5 m) in Verbindung mit dieser aktiven Verlängerung und kann keinerlei Nachteile entdecken. Es wird direkt am USB-C-Anschluss meines Frontpanels (USB 3.2 Gen. 2) oder am Thunderbolt 3-Anschluss meines Mainboards verwendet. Ob demnach auch USB-A-Anschlüsse mit USB 3.2 Gen. 1 funktionieren, samt nochmals Adapter, kann nicht garantiert werden. Lindy macht immer gute Produkte, die halten, was sie versprechen! Danke! Zwar nicht so günstig, aber funktional. Update 04.06.2020: Mittlerweile habe ich das Ladeverhalten beobachtet. Mal lädt es, mal nicht. Ich kann mir nicht so richtig einen Reim darauf bilden. Also es ist nicht so, dass er ständig anfängt und aufhört, sondern so, dass er entweder beim Einstecken konstant lädt oder eben nicht. Egal ob mit Strom-Adapter oder ohne. Das kann man aber verschmerzen. Ich verwende das Oculus Link-Kabel zusammen mit dem Adapter übrigens am Virtual Link-Port meiner NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, da lt. Test dort die höchste Bandbreite gemessen wird (2,4 GBit/s ohne Verlängerung, 2,1 GBit/s mit Verlängerung). Das hat natürlich keinerlei Auswirkung. Wenn es jedoch den Port gibt, den man sonst nicht nutzt, wieso also nicht?

Can confirm it works with the original oculus quest 2 cable (5meters) tested 3 times the cable and getting 1.8 gbs of bandwidth. 10 meters length total.

Cette rallonge fonctionne bien, elle fait le job. Par contre, et certains appareils USB C ne fonctionnent pas.
