I've had one for about 5 years . Easy way to find trouble codes and fix your car. Just use a search engine to look up the codes and fix the car yourself. I saved thousands of dollars because I don't go to a garage or mechanic. So it takes me all day to do a 2 hour job from a shop. I save $300-$400 dollars that I don't have . Especially nowadays. Alot of fixes are simple, but mechanics and garages are greedy. A $40 part installed by you can save about $300 if a garage does it. Spark plugs, coil packs, replacing a leaking gas cap. The new one I just got is better than the older one but looks the same. I gave the old one to someone who kept borrowing mine.

I have only been able to use this once on my truck. I have not had any issues with the truck and nothing showed up but it did plug right in and started right up. 2018 GMC Sierra. When the weather gets above freezing I'll try it on my niece's 2010 GMC Terrain. I'm sure something will show up on the car

I needed a scanner for a check engine light. Found a P0442 code. This scanner can erase the codes. It also tells which monitors are complete, incomplete or non-applicable. I used the scanner to verify all was well with the car before taking it for emissions inspection. Easy to use...just plug into OBD port and turn the key to on position. Well worth the money.

Works good. I was impressed. It read the VIN so you knew it had the engine data. Confirmed the problem and gave the problem code. Also was able to clear the issue.

Didn't want to spend a lot - just got bushwhacked by a mechanic. Cant count on anyone these days. Bought this- easy to use and read. Replaced the broken part myself. Car runs great. Get this and know what is wrong with your car before you take it in. Could be a $40.00 part as opposed to a $440.00 bill. Never again.
