Another good choice from Zowie
I bought this mouse as a replacement for my ZA12. I already used a fingertip grip style, so the transition was fairly easy. I did need to change my grip to curl my pinky and ring fingers, as apposed to having them straight up the side of the mouse like on the ZA12. This was a necessary change as it doesn't have the aggressive lips and the front sides of the mouse, and so needed a more stable grip. This also allows a more free movement up and down, and more precise aim adjustments with the fingers only. A size comparison with the ZA12, it's a bit smaller in length, a bit wider in width, and shallower in height of the bump over the top, and your fingers will rest further from the mousepad as the buttons are higher. It is more flat overall. Using the mouse in this way, it feels perfect. It has a very nice matte finish, I have had no issues with tracking after lifting the mouse, no spin outs at all, functionally it is perfect also. The mouse wheel isn't great, but won't get caught inbetween steps. It is loud, and doesn't feel nice, and doesn't have as many steps as wheels from other mice. I don't really think it is acceptable at this price point, but everything else about the mouse help me to ignore my gripes with the wheel. A mouse is very much personal preference these days, they all function very similarly in-game. It's about how the clicks feel, the shape, the slide across the pad. For myself, this mouse is great. Anyone considering purchasing a more expensive mouse or wanting to get better at aiming in any game should check out RocketJumpNinja on YouTube, who has in depth reviews of most competitive mice and has a website for finding mice suitable for your hand. Be prepared to change your grip, it may be strange at first but a fingertip grip with as little of your hand touching the mouse is best to learn for the future. And stop playing with such high sensitivity.

Amazing for FPS gaming
Brilliant mouse! After using a lot of mice from Logitech (G600, G303, G402, G900, G502, G305) and a few from other brands, I decided to give Zowie S2 a try because of the hype. Having a wire is what kept me from trying it before and the G Pro is way too expensive. I'm very glad I did and I don't care it has a wire anymore. The shape is amazing and I can't believe it does such a huge difference. I love it and my aim improved a lot because of it. I can do things with more control than I was able before.

My last mouse
Excellent mouse. I’ve tried a lot of different gaming mice; Ec2a was too high/wide, fk2 too thin and long, steelseries mice too cheap and light etc. This one fits and works very well! I won’t be changing my mouse again, this is the one after a lot of searching.

Zowie S2 - A great mouse, from a company who doesn’t care
Zowie have been the king of shapes for a while, this mouse is no exception for claw grip users. The shape is extremely comfortable, and offers the best build quality that I’ve ever seen in a mouse. You could throw this mouse at the wall and the wall would break (don’t try this). The coating is great, feels amazing and overall provides enough grip during usage. Where this mouse falls a little bit is with weight, cable and scroll wheel. The weight is around 85g with the cable, this is usually too high for people these days, as we have mice that are under 65g that overall offer more than the S2. For a stock cable, this thing is terrible. It’s so tough that you could use it as a whip and it’s just stiff and not a cable you would expect on a 70 dollar mouse in 2020. The scroll wheel is the cherry on top, however. It is loud, has only 16 steps and makes a noise that makes your ears wanna drop off. There are so many better wheels and regardless of years of complaints regarding their scroll wheel, they continue to use it. Other pros include the mouse feet. They may be teflon and only .45mm, while most ptfe feet are .8mm, but they are god damn smooth and there is no scratching, which surprised me most about such thin feet. I have hyperglides on my copy and honestly it wasn’t worth it, as the stock feet are great. Last thing that puts this mouse down is the price. You’re paying 70 dollars for a mouse that can only really offer it’s great shape. Other than that, Zowie are generally stuck in 2016 with their awful cables, scroll wheels and high weights for today’s standards. I’d look for other options, however if you’re certain this shape suits you, and you don’t mind spending extra for a paracord and aftermarket mouse feet, spending an additional 25 dollars, then it may be the mouse for you.

A well made mouse with ugly scroll wheel.
The mouse is OK, simple configuration (without useless software). Not comfortable on my hand (9x17cm). The cable is too hard :( The scroll wheel has 16steps, impossible use it on web browsing/text editors.

Too much hype
Heard some good things about this mouse so when I finally decided to replace my 518, this was one of the first I chose to test. Shape felt decent but by 2020, this mouse is fairly heavy. Again, by 2020 standards, the cord is stiff - you feel it. The thing that put me off the most was the balance - this mouse feels really front heavy. My MX518 ain't a light bio but it's better balanced than this thing. Because it's front heavy, it actually feels heavier than it is. I can't really comment further on this mouse as the balance was so off-putting when gaming, I found it hard to pay attention to any other aspects of it. Wouldn't recommend for anyone unless you're already used to front heavy/Zowie mice. P.S. My hand size is 18.5 cm x 10 cm. I mainly play competitive FPS with a claw grip style.

Quality mouse
Zowie have the best mouse shapes and the S2 is my favourite mouse so far. Can't fault it at all and the new matte coating they use is great, much better than the FK2's. Tried the glossy S2 but it wasn't for me. I can recommend this mouse highly. Be sure to check online reviews and size guidelines before buying as the S2 is a small mouse.

I suggest you go watch the review of Rocket Jump Ninja on Youtube but here's a short summary: - The biggest selling point of this mouse - the shape and its ergonomic quality - it's amazing. My hand is 19cm (top of middle finger to wrist) and I usually do a hybrid grip (claw and fingertip) and this mouse is just absolute heaven - I kid you not after switching from my previous mouse (Zowie EC2-A) I literally feel blessed every time I use the mouse .. it's that good. - left and right-click feel just the right amount of light and easy to press - mouse wheel is absolute garbage but you get used to it (the sound and the way it scrolls are bad, the mechanism of the wheel itself is supposedly good, absolutely no one has complained of its functionality) - side buttons are extremely nice - some say they are slightly hardER to press compared to other mice but I like that (comparing to my zowie EC2-A which had extremely easy-to-press buttons - the 2 rubber feet on the bottom feel solid and cover the mouse more than enough for it to track flawlessly and not jump or suffer from lift-off movement. - the sensor feels extremely accurate and again doesn't suffer from lift-off movements or anything else - absolutely perfect. - The switches for the DPI and the Polling rates switches feel hard to press and they absolutely never press when you move around with the mouse. I am not being sponsored by Zowie, I just love the mouse that much :)

The packaging of the product was bad for an electronic item . Needs improvement
