Best Dish Brush I've Ever Owned!
Every so often I pick up a dish brush at Walmart when the old one is getting worn, but I forgot to the last couple trips so I figured I'd just order one on Amazon this one time (I assumed it would be more expensive because it's just a dish brush). I saw this brush, that let's be honest looks like a toilet brush, and was super curious how a simple dish brush could have such great reviews. I ordered it figuring that even if there's a slight exaggeration in the reviews, it should at least do the job. Well, it does the job and better than any dish brush I've ever had! The previous reviewers weren't kidding. I wouldn't normally rave about and review a dish brush but it seriously exceeded my expectations. My main things I love about this brush are: - The long handle. It makes it so easy to clean every kind of dish. - The 360 brush design. I don't have a plastic side scraping my dishes as I wash them and this makes washing quicker. - It looks like a toilet brush. This makes for some funny looks from visitors and is a great conversation starter. - Its durability. It appears this brush is going to last a reaally long time especially compared to the other types of dish brushes I have bought in the past. I will definitely be buying this again when this one bites the dust, which I'm expecting won't be for quite a while.

Generally a great dish brunch, but quality control needs work.
Revised 11/13/22 What the heck, Carlisle? I ordered another of these pricey dish brushes for use in the camper and Carlisle quality control tanked this one. I’m accustomed to the flat side, but on this one, the bristles are cut far too short to be useful. This one’s going back for a replacement. Thank goodness for free returns. Pics are of the previous brush as well as the new delivery. Original review: I know it seems overtly trivial to form an emotional attachment to something as pedestrian as a dish washing implement, but I've grown very fond of my Carlisle Dish Brush over the years. At some point in the early to mid 2000's, I picked one of these out of a bargain bin for a few bucks. I liked the idea that it was round so that any side would do for scrubbing and with one side of the bristles cut flat, it wasn't going to roll away. It quickly became my 'go-to' cleaning tool in and around the sink. When my friends would come over for dinner, they used to tease that it looked like I was using a toilet brush for dishes. I'd hand it to them and say, "Here. Try it." They'd usually laugh and then start cleaning up dishes. After using it for a few minutes they'd invariably ask, "Where'd you buy this brush?" I could never remember where and so my dish brush became something of a quirky icon in my kitchen. It's mostly held it's shape over years of use (not perfectly, but remarkably well) and always comes clean after a a trip through the dishwasher. A few weeks ago I decided it to was time to let Google help me find a replacement. Amazon Prime had the best deal and it's something of a mystery why it takes a few weeks to get one. Today, my shiny (well, it's not actually "shiny") new Carlisle Sparta Dish Brush showed up in a box on my porch. In a side-by-side comparison, the new one appears identical to my old brush. I do finally realize that my old brush looks pretty tired and worn, but it's been scrubbing and cleaning for at least 10 years. I'm going to put the new brush to use right away and in a few months, I'll take pictures and post an update. If this brush performs like my first one, I figure I'm years away from buying a replacement.

Excellent Commercial Quality
I use this as my designated coffee carafe brush for my Ninja coffee maker. It has firm but gentle bristles and cleans my carafe very well. It's a larger, commercial kitchen sized brush, which is what I wanted. I am a fan of Carlisle products and have several other brushes I already use. They do not stain or hold odor and last forever. Of Note - The photos that are posted by Amazon are incorrect. The brush I received is a full head brush with somewhat flattened bristles on one side to prevent rolling. The item number listed matches the full head brush on the Carlisle web page, but that one photo shows a brush with half bristles. No matter, photos aside, you will not be disappointed in the quality and performance of the Carlisle brushes. For the price point, you can't find a better quality commercial grade brush.

Really great brush
My favorite brush. Looked everywhere for a good kitchen brush but all the others weren’t stiff enough. This one is perfect.

Very expensive for a shortened toilet brush.
Looks like a toilet brush, and very expensive, but it does work for cleaning my stainless steel tumblers.

Too soft for scrubbing anything dirty.
Bristles are very soft - won't remove caked-on debris.

An explanation to the other reviewers about why one side is slightly flat.
Pictures are trying to show the rounded as well as the flat side. This brush is the absolute most amazingly designed brush I've found for scrubbing both glasses and mason jars, and also dishes and pans. The reason it is a bit flattened on one side is to allow you to use it for all purposes without having to keep a flat edged brush and a round edged brush on your dish drainer. It is just the right amount of flat on the one side to scrub the slightly squared (flat) shape of the outside of 1 quart mason jars. The brush also seems very sturdy and just the right length for efficiency. The only drawback is the gawd-awful price, but I realize that tooling up for manufacturing such a unique shape is not cheap. I do plan to buy a second one before the quality and/or availability changes.

Très durable, garde bien sa forme malgré son utilisation quotidienne dans l’eau très chaude. Frotte bien sans endommager. Ça fait plusieurs mois que je l’utilise et elle est comme neuve encore.
