One of the voice coils in the rear speakers busted and Everytime I played the music loud it made a horrible noise that freaking drove me crazy... I'm in my car for many hours a day and need my music to prevent me from going crazy! I've researched these and wanted something easy to install and something that sounded good. My limited had the 10 speaker upgrade which already sounded great. I wanted to go with more expensive speakers but decided to stick with the plug and play route. Install was easy, once I plugged them up, I tested them and was immediately able to hear the difference, before I installed the other side, I closed the door and listened and compared it to the OEM Sony speakers, and these were a major improvement in not only loudness, but clarity and bass. In comparison, you can feel that these speakers are of better quality, and seem to be much more durable, on top of that, they are so much better looking and feeling than the oems. They seemed louder as well which was great as it seemed to have more power than the originals. I took full advantage of sound proofing the doors while changing out these speakers and it made a difference beyond what I expected. Are these expensive for the quality? Yes and no, you are paying extra for the convenience of a plug and play, as well as the speaker baffle as well, you you are really getting these at a great price. You will not regret buying these for the upgrade, they really do make a difference.

Got these to replace front door speakers in my 2013 Ford Fusion. Perfect fit, super simple to do, and they sound great. Just as much bass as the old ones.

I recently made a review saying that these do not fit my 2018 mustang ecoboost, but I didnt realize that they come with an adapter that did fit. That being said, these speakers are great. I like to set my equalizer to a nice bass setting and these improve that. However, even though they do fit the adapter for my mustang, I still had to file down some of the sides in order to actually fit properly

These fit perfectly in my 2014 Ford Fusion SE with the basic non-Sony audio system. My front speakers were blown and rattling, but I decided to replace both front and rear. The speakers fit perfectly with no modifications needed. I saw one review mention removing the foam ring, but you don't need to remove it. It's designed to press up against the back of the door panel so that there is maximum sound transfer into the vehicle instead of losing some in the door panel. Connectors fit perfectly and I did not need the extensions nor the extra screws from the kit. each door panel had 5 screws and a handful of push-in anchors. I broke one of the plastic anchors in removal, but you can't even tell after replacing the door panel. In total, it took less than an hour to install all 4 speakers, including a sound check to make sure polarity was correct before replacing the door panels. These sound much better than the original junk speakers Ford shipped the vehicle with. Don't expect ultimate clarity, but at this price point for a bolt-in replacement with zero modifications needed, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I was on the fence between these or a set of the Pioneer A-Series MAX 6.5" speakers. I may have gotten a little better sound quality from the Pioneers (unknown), but might have had a lot of extra work to do (cut/solder speaker wires, or buy adapters, buy and install foam rings, take a chance on whether they would fit, etc.). I am confident in my electrical/mechanical skills and would have been fine either way, but I know I made the right choice buying the PowerBass OEM replacement kit and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great upgrade. Speakers were toast w foam surrounds almost compeltely gone, so obviously these are better, but its a solid upgrade from the Shaker 6.5" door speakers that came on my 15 GT Premium Mustang. The bass is significantly better so I actually have to chase down some rattles.... naturally its a Mustang, so...

Plug in play.. smaller speaker than the BO sound system on limited edition on the Expo but gets the job done.

I’ve enjoyed PowerBass products for over 20 years now and their product is still great! I replaced all the stock speakers in my truck with PowerBass with the exception of the center dash speaker… having a hard time committing to purchasing a pari to only use one. I purchased the 6x9 comp speakers for the front doors, woofer in the door and tweeters in the pillar, and they were great! Great full sound at the highest volume on stock radio without an amplifier. So, I purchased the 6.5 component speakers for the rear doors, mine had no cone present at the time of the new speaker install. Both PowerBass sets were genuine “plug-and-play” for my 2017 Ford F150. After installing the rear door speakers, I jumped in and cranked some “Mike’s Way” at the highest volume the radio allowed, flawless sound with plenty of bass for door speakers! If you want to set off car alarms, add some 15s. I will be purchasing the dual 6” oval powered “hide-away” sub from PowerBass as soon as I get the chance. Can’t wait for an even fuller sound at a great price!
