I can't find this at my local grocery store. I used to be a fan of the krusteaz bake and fry for all of my frying needs. When they stopped making that I finally found this. It is similar and this is a big enough size that I don't have to worry about running out right away. It's also not too salty that it will send your blood pressure thru the roof. :) This seller was a very fast shipper. I live in Alaska off the road system and I recieved 4 days after ordering here on amazon. I will be purchasing again. Thank you

If you like to taste your seafood then try breading it with this Krusteaz Breader mix. The key is after you dip it in the egg/milk or water mixture and flour the seafood with the mix - allow the breaded fish/shrimp/clams to rest for at least 30mins. It will look like you need to re-bread it but, DON'T you want the breading mix to look transulent. Fry in a hot deep fryer or fry pan with 1" of oil. Then enjoy the taste of your seafood NOT the breading or batter mix.

I grew up with Krusteaz Bake and Fry mix and was shocked when I could no longer find it. It was just the perfect blend. The closest I have come to replicating it is with this stuff. Just add paprika to it, and it basically tastes like the original Bake and Fry mix. The only thing I really don't like about it is the enormous box- you have to buy 5 pounds.

I can’t tell you how disappointed I was when I tried to order Krusteaz Bake and Fry Mix several months ago and learned that it had been discontinued. My grandma used it for her “world famous” fried chicken and I was the only one in the family who somehow kept that “secret” and was able to recreate her fried chicken with milk gravy recipe, and I thought, it was gone forever, and then I found this! I tried it for the first time, just this week, and it’s an almost perfect match to the original. I had read a review that said the only thing missing from it was paprika, so I added a bit before frying, and it turned out perfect; did it the old fashioned way, dipped the chicken in water and shook it in the mixture, in a brown paper bag and then fried it up… My grandma, I’m sure, was smiling; I know I was.

Hello - I have used Krusteaz Bake and Fry Mix for my "famous" fried chicken, and have been unable to find it online or in any stores. I saw this new (?) Krusteaz item on Amazon and decided to try it out since I don't like my fried chicken any other way. It is delicious - even better than the old mix! Lightly seasoned and a light, fluffy crust. Very pleased with this item. Will purchase again.

I use it for breading chicken or clams . It seems to brown nicely
