they still look great considering their cheap price tag
The Clarks Bushacre 2 in Beeswax was my second pair of dessert boots. I made the purchase with the consideration of quality and style in mind. Nearly 6 months later of wearing them atleast 3 times a week, they still look great considering their cheap price tag. In terms of construction, the Bushacres are made with full-grain leather uppers (albeit of a lower grade than more expensive shoes), featuring what appears to be a fabric lining. The main difference between these and Clarks Desert Boots are the rubber soles used in the Bushacres, which are harder than the soft crepe soles used in the Desert Boots. Due to the pillow-like comfort of crepe soles, many choose the Desert Boots over these. However, I chose these for what should be better durability than crepe. Besides, the tendency for crepe to become dirty and discoloured was one aspect that I decided I’d be better-off without. I have the original Clarks Desert Boots in grey and the soles are pretty black from dirt accumulating over time. Thee soles are holding up pretty well, I am considering getting these resoled with Dainite soles after they’re worn down. They have been through one winter full of snow. As far as sizing goes, I bought a full size down and with thick socks for the winter time, they fit perfectly. They took some time to break in and are now one of my more comfortable shoes. They do run wide but thats fine with me. I am just starting my sartorial journey and these are a perfect fit for me despite what some consider a sloppy unstructured aestheic. They look great with a pair of jeans for the I just chopped some wood look. And they look great for with khakis for the I'm a man but still stylish look. Over all at the end of the day they are an affordable pair of shoes made with good materials. Take good care of them and they'll good great. We are prime members so as always quick delivery.

Excellent boot for the money, good for light to moderate duty but some minor quality control issues
Let me start by saying that this is a great boot for the money. Comfortable enough to wear for long periods, look really smart dressed up (they go great with dark denim) and seems to be built well enough to withstand light to moderate daily use. Just don't treat them as you would a pair of work boots or dish out the kind of abuse you would give to a pair of Red Wings, Chippewas, Thorogoods etc and I see no reason why these should not last you for years with the right care and a resole when needed. Think camping, fishing, nature hike etc - that's the most I can expect out of them, other than than your typical mild mannered daily use of course - really its this versatility at such an affordable price point that I like best about them. I've had them 6 months so far and no issues yet. Now on to other observations - (i) they did take a few days to break in. I ended up with blisters on the back of one foot when I wore them several hours right out of the box. Even this could have been prevented had I worn better socks. The leather is soft and pliable so my guess is that many people will not have this issue; (ii) the laces are not the best quality. They are not waxed and generally seem the type that will require replacement in a few months especially if you wear the shoes daily; (iii) there seem to be some minor quality control issues between pairs in things like color and lace material. I ordered sizes 8 and 8.5 because I wasn't sure which one would fit better. Both were in beeswax but as you can see in the pictures the 8 was noticeably darker than the 8.5. I have owned the desert boot in beeswax previously and the 8.5 is like the beeswax color of the original desert boot. I didn't like the darker shade of the 8. On the other hand, the laces on the 8 were thicker and of better quality than the 8.5! I can't say whether the differences are because the company has different sizes made in different factories or if its simply down to quality control but it is something to note nevertheless. I thought it was appropriate to take away one star because of the issues described above.

This shoe has no insole
They boots look great and are very stylish. They are very uncomfortable and you feet will hurt if you wear these for only half a day. On the actual page it says they have extreme comfort insoles with padding. Unless I just got a bad pair this is a complete lie. The heel padding is less thick than a tee-shirt and the upper part of your foot has zero padding at all. you can literally click your nail and it will sound hard like wood. Looks are great but saying these are comfortable is a complete lie unless you like walking on hardwood.

Good buy
I bought the Clarks Men's Bushacre 2 Chukka Boots through my account for a friend, and they’re great! The color is a versatile brown that goes with everything. They’re super comfortable and very functional right from the start and durable enough to handle daily wear. The fit is perfect, and they’re easy to slip on and off. They look good for both casual and semi-formal outfits, and for the price, they’re worth it. Great value for money!

Best shoe I’ve owned.
I bought my boots about six months ago. I wanted to wear them a bit before I made a review. So far they have held up beyond expectation. I wear these six to seven days a week and have no problems. The thick leather took a week to break into, but have been so comfortable ever since. Mud comes off easy because of the beeswax coating, they are able to handle rain, and normal wear and tear adds to the look. They look great with every outfit I own. My back soles are beginning to wear down at the 6 month mark, but still feel comfortable. The laces that come with the shoe are pretty standard. So, you might consider buying replacements if you’re in to that kind of thing.

Great looking boots
Fit is a bit larger than actual size, but these look great with slacks. I will have to wait to experience how the perform as usage increases. Right now I consider they offer great value.

The shoes came in as expected. I thought at first that they looked a bit darker than I thought, but then I checked with the image in the screen and saw that the color was actually correct. That is always a risk when buying shoes online -I like the color a lot now-. I've used Clarks shoes for a while and one thing you need to know -if you have never owned these shoes before- is that the leather is quite stiff when you first use them; you will have to let them hurt you a bit 3 or 4 days before they adapt wonderfully to the form of your feet. They are nicely made and they've already started to age very nicely.
