Family Care Clotrimazole Cream, 1% USP

I bought this because I was a little desperate and noticed that everything I had tried so far wasn't working for me. While looking around the net for something that would help my situation I stumbled upon an article which mentions Clotrimazole as a cure for athletes foot or jock itch and I went ahead and looked for anything with this ingredient in it. To my surprise the only remedies I found were the big name brands which cost about 5 to 6 times what this product cost me on amazon.com with shipping included. I thought about spending the money and buy a name brand product but then I found this product on amazon and decided to order. I was a little skeptic at first because of the price but don't let the price fool you. This stuff really works. The first day I used it I notice significant improvement in my condition. Don't get me wrong this is not a miracle cure and it will not clear your symptoms overnight but it does work immediately. I have been using it for the last 3 days now and my symptoms have all disappeared. I have not stopped the treatment yet I will continue to use it until I run out to make sure it is fully cured and that my problem will not come back again. Just for good measure I ordered an extra tube of this topical cream to be ready if I ever need it again. It has an expiration date for 2015 so I am covered for the next 3 years. Other people have written reviews with similar results as mine. However depending on each individual case it make not work for some and it will for others. I will stick with my story and will recommend this product to anyone who suffers from athlete's foot or jock itch. A great economical alternative solution for fungus infections.

04-17-2011. When you have athlete foot from almost 20 years, and buy Desenex spray look for what is inside the Desenex. You might find out that you can buy a better cream called Clotrimazole cream, online on Amazon.com with only almost $7 for five tubes, and pay (shipping included) only the price for a Desenex spray. So, I used this cream, and I had better results than using the DESENEX. I recommend Clotrimazole 1% cream for athlete foot, and expecially the company Drugstoreliquidator, CA, which sold this item on AMAZON.COM - 5 tubes for the price of one tub of DESENEX. Since I use it my feet look again normal, and Ican go on the beach in this Summer. In the evening I soak my feet first in warm water for one hour, and than I USE DE CREAM. I am very happy with the product and its price. But, if you want 10 tubes for $23 go again online on Amazon.com and find it. Thank You God for the information. George

Works well!

I purchased this cream in my desperate attempt to alleviate what I knew to be Perioral Dermatitis around my mouth. After reading numerous blogs and articles where women had success by treating it with this anti-fungal, I had to try it. After using this Clotrimazol cream for two weeks solid, I feel that it did resolve a small portion of the problem—however, my Perioral Dermatitis was eventually uncovered to be caused by the Demodex mite! To all sufferers desperate and seeking answers to their sudden and life altering skin outbreak, please consider my story! I'm slowly clearing up now thanks to a mixture of Borax and H2O2 (HP), Ultra Colloidal Silver Gel and Mama Nature Proskin Eczema cream. The Demodex mite feeds on high concentrations of yeast (fungus). I believe in my horrible situation, a yeast infection had been spread to my face as I had scaly, rough film around my mouth, jaw and nose for days just before the outbreak of blisters and redness. A combination treatment is a must! 120 days of solid treatment for full relief! I'm about 25 days in. I hope this helps someone out there like me! Don't give up!

Works but not that well

I have had perioral dermatitis 3 times in my life. The first time I went to the dermatologist. She gave me two options - antibiotics or metronidazole. I did the metronidazole and it took a significant amount of time before it cleared up. The second time I got it, I used magnesium oil and manuka honey primarily and it went away but again, took forever. This 3rd time around I tried the manuka honey and magnesium oil like before, zinc supplements, ACV, oregano oil, supplements for healthy skin, antifungal cream, anti inflammatory diet (except wine) etc. and nothing was working. I dug and dug and dug into all of the info on the web and stumbled on a blog where the writer suggested Clotrimazole. I bought it and immediately my skin started clearing up. I have no idea how this can be the only thing that's ever worked instantly, but it is working for me and if you have peri oral dermatitis, I HIGHLY recommend you try it.
