I rarely write product reviews (although I should since I use them as part of my selection process), but this lantern right here?? VERY necessary! And it's going to be a long one but worth every minute and word. I've already bought this 2 pack Ezorkas lantern set TWICE for emergencies and bad weather outages, and am about to buy a third set. And no- the 2nd was not a replacement for ones that "burnt out". As EXCELLENT as they are, I doubt they CAN burn out at this point. The lanterns I initially bought have been going strong since 2020/21. I bought my parents a set because they kept telling me how concerned they were about more frequent outages caused by intense storms. They're in love and asked me to get another them another set...or 2. I won't even address value for money because the price point was great (pre-fall and winter) and less than even mini flashlights at my Target. And then you get TWO? Can't be outdone. Brightness: They're super bright- the small flashlight and lantern when extended literally light up my condo, and the beacon/ emergency flasher and blinker wouldn't ever be overlooked regardless of how dark or foggy the area. My dad jokes that he may as well get off the electric grid lol. Convenience and Safety: Not only do these lanterns mean I don't need to use dangerous candles or propane in case of an emergency, they are also rechargeable so I never have to worry about rushing to the store for batteries after a storm warning is issued or even then dying when I may still need the lantern. The fact that I can just plug it into a USB port is PERFECTION as I can recharge the lantern almost anywhere including in my car. The magnets on the base also mean I can stick it to any metal surface and leave my hands free. All the above are big parts of why I travel with 1 of these lanterns in my car at all times. Which brings me to... Compact and Sleek: As much as it has going on (and it's A LOT), these lanterns aren't bulky at all- they're small but mighty! I mean even the on/off for the main lantern area just requires sliding the body to extend/ close. Plus, with a handle that happens to fit over my wrist, I don't risk it slipping or falling when I'm using it. All the integrated design and additional features are amazing! Longevity: I can't even tell you how long the light stays on when fully charged because they have never gone out on me! Everrr. I had an outage one night, so I woke up and turned on one of these on then went back to bed. The beauty of not using a flame like with candles or battery-powered lights right?! When I got up several hours later, the lantern was still as brilliant as the sun and the lights were back on. We're talking 5+ hours consistently and I have only charged them the one time after I got them. I was REALLY impressed. Well Made: Last, but certainly not least, the lanterns are sturdy and they WORK and they work very, very well right out the box. When I first ordered a pair, I had some doubts as I couldn't imagine getting one good lantern much less 2 for the price. I figured if they were defective I would just return them. After messing with Coleman rechargeables and various ones that took 9-volt lantern-style or AA, C or D batteries. I bought 4 of these, and after using them for 5 minutes I promptly threw all of the others away. They each weigh about 10 ounces, are rechargeable and/or you can put batteries in them, they can be self-standing lanterns or a flashlight/hazard flasher in a pinch, and they are bright enough. They have two sets of metal handles to carry them different ways, and a magnetic base to stick onto a car, cabinet or toolbox. When you lift up the lantern portion it automatically turns on, and you can use any combination of flashlight/lantern/hazard flasher. I bought a USB hub to plug these into (along with a rechargeable flashlight) so they're always ready. They take up so much less room in my work area and I don't have to mess with batteries or half-dead lanterns. Oh, and they're inexpensive!

These lanterns are awesome camping or emergency gear! The magnet is strong, perfect for under a car hood or a metal surface. The power last a good time, SUPER bright and adjustable, and the compactness of all lights makes it a great piece of gear to have on hand. The plastic is hard and seems durable, hopefully it keeps going strong!

These are pretty inexpensive and that's always going to come with a compromise. Where these compromise is on durability - they are very lightweight, cheap plastic in construction with no reinforcement, no bumpers, no nothing to protect them. I had one of them attached to the side of my truck with the magnetic base (very useful) and I bumped it - it fell about 2 feet into soft sand and the top broke right off. The lamp still works, but the inner electronics are exposed and I doubt it will hold up much longer. This isn't a concern if you won't be moving them around much, but I wouldn't feel comfortable throwing them in with my camping gear and expecting them to hold up for any amount of time at all. Besides that the brightness is pretty decent and it trails off slowly rather than suddenly over time so you have time to make arrangements when you notice it starting to get dim. They charge relatively quickly as well which is nice - I use one while I charge the other and it works out pretty well. The magnetic base is a great feature I didn't think I'd use much but I have ended up using a ton as I've switched to "car camping" for the most part and I can just stick the lantern where it is most convenient and it holds steady (unless, as noted, you bump it). The flashlight feature is pretty "meh" - I wouldn't buy this to use as a flashlight, but it's there and if you just needed one quickly, well, it'll do. Never needed the strobe feature, but I could see it being handy in a bind.

These are cool. SUPER bright , charged up quick and have a sleek look. Don't know how long they last as I haven't had to use them for any length of time yet. Seem very sturdy and Definitely worth the price.

These camp lights are in top 5 items I have ever purchased on amazon.bi purchased these 5 yrs ago and they still work as good today as they did 5 yrs ago! They charge well fairly quick and last @ 8 hours someti.e longer depending on light u use most. The are so handy being able to adjust intensity of lantern light. They have magnets for hands free work in dark areas and also offer a flash light option. They even have various ways to recharge. They are light, work in rain and compact for easy storage in backpack. I use thes lights for everything at home or camping I even keep one In car for emergency having a Red flashing light and also a sos flashing red light. These are truly handy for home ,camping, and car.

The lanterns were brighter expected, even one of them is effective at illuminating a bedroom. Their rechargeable battery lasted for long time, and it nice to have the option to use AA batteries. The product's dimensions are a good compact size, it's convenient to keep an extra lamp in your car. The three magnets located on the bottom of the lantern are useful for stability, and for using the flashlight/pointer light. The product has two lights, a directional flashlight on the top, and the primary lantern.
