The best walking socks!
Best & most attractive walking socks I've found. Comfortable, beautifully made, and containing high % of real Merino wool, for all its excellent natural properties. It's hard to find the genuine article these days. Washes beautifully too. Also, wonderful & friendly Customer Service, when I wanted to ask questions.

Good Quality Socks and Outstanding Customer Service
These socks are good quality, worth the money, warm, comfortable and they will undoubtedly prove durable. Equally important as it's turned out for me: the friendly, helpful customer care experience with this family business has been included in the price tag! The balance between keeping socks up on your calves/ankles and not doing so too tightly is, as I now realize, not straightforward. I ordered a size Medium and found the socks too tight. I am however a `chunky' build (mesamorphic) and, when I contacted Charlie and Katie at Rymora they suggested I try the Large and offered a refund if things didn't work out. The Large are fine and I'm happy - not just about the socks which I need for Winter cycling in particular, but because it's such a pleasure in the midst of the `call-centre culture' of our times to deal on a personal level with people who realize that by caring about the people who are their customers they are caring for their family business. It's such a pleasure to write a positive review, especially considering that I started out with a complaint. I decided to get in touch with Charlie and Katie. (They include a note about their family business with the product which I think is a nice touch.) So instead of writing a negative review there was an opportunity for Rymora to put things right. They've done that with bells and whistles and I will definitely purchase from this family business again. David West

The socks I've been searching for...
Bought a pair of these socks a few weeks ago so I've had the chance to put them through their paces now. I've always been into Bridgedales, mainly Merino Fusion but after a few sweaty days over summer realised that I needed a higher merino content for a bit more comfort and control of foot temperature (Bridgedales MF are 16%), particularly in full grain leather boots. With a few longer trails ticked of in the Rymoras I cannot recommend them highly enough. The same single "test" pair have been brilliant whether in fabric or leather boots, hot and humid or wet through. Fit for my feet is perfect, feeling immediately like a second skin. They are padded and vented in all the right places, breath brilliantly and I only ever felt "hot footed" on the most extreme of days with temps into the very high twenties. A recent back to back Lakeland three day, 10 miles per day plus through water and high temps gave the socks a good workout and (as grim as it sounds) the same single pair performed brilliantly throughout. A bit crusty by the end as you might expect but still comfortable, still keeping my feet cool and only slightly wiffy. The benefits of the higher merino content (40%) proving their worth. I've noted that some reviews have questioned how long the socks might last. For me, so far, no concerns but maybe the higher wool content will prove a little "softer" to toe nail rub. I reckon time well spent with a nail file should minimise any likelihood. Small price to pay for the difference these made to my feet on my last few walks so I've already got another three pairs on the way.

best high quality warm country socks EVER!!
These high quality socks are great for everything. They are warm and not too bulky, not too thick. Soft and stretchy. Excellent, foot shaped fit. They come in a range of sizes for the perfect fit. Ankle also fitted but not tight. Doesn't leave marks. Doesn't bunch up in your shoes or boots. They look great and the range of colours means they go with everything. Neat. Easy to wash and air dry. No, I am not paid a commission to write this review but I genuinely love these socks. Once you have used these you won't want anything else. The seller is very helpful and the packaging is professionally done. Seriously you will know what I mean once you try them.

Excellent value for money as great in all weather.
Used in Bolivia and Peru in cold weather and in southern France in hot weather. Work just as well. Comfortable and no sweaty feet!
