C Programming Success in a Day: Beginners’ Guide To Fast, Easy And Efficient Learning Of C Programming Paperback – February 9, 2015

This really is not a bad book. I bought the book to review some of the C language. Often large gaps oftime pass between when I have a programming project to do. So, I wanted a thin brief book for review.This book wasn't great, but it wasn't bad either. It covered most of the basics and nearly all theprogram examples worked. The only thing this book lacks is creating user defined functions. One big plus wasthat it covered graphics programming. That was something I didn't expect out of a book like this. Alittle more information should have been provided on how to install or where to get the WinBGIm add-on for MinGW C++ compiler. If this book would have covered user declared functions, I would have given it5-stars. I hope the author will add user defined function and perhaps user defined header files in his next edition.

I gave this 2 stars: the first because it was obligatory, and another because, in spite of the book's simplicity and errors, I did learn something about C. The book is filled with grammatical errors and even programming errors (i.e. the do-while loop example on page 48 and the occasional declaring of a variable as the wrong type). A lot of the content can be found on the internet verbatim, and the format of the book changes from 1.5 spacing to single spacing on page 94. The book is very simple, to the point where nothing is properly explained and broad claims are made without any support. As a computer science major, I would say that unless you have some experience programming, you will not understand this at all. All in all, a VERY unprofessional book. Even so, I did learn a little about the basics of the C programming language, which I why I very begrudgingly give this book 2 stars instead of 1.

Written for skilled programmers. Not suitable for novice or beginner programmers.

This book really helped me a lot, I really wish to learn C and C++ and this Book makes my dream come true. I hope this Author also write a book for C++ too. Simple and easy way to learn C language.

C is probably the most widely used programming language out there and lots of grade schools are beginning to train 5 year olds in this language. This is a great book to get you started understanding what C programming is and how it works. There are numerous real-world examples of C Programming throughout the book that help you get a clear picture of what is possible using this language. I highly recommend this to anyone new to C Programming!

slim book. not much to it. it's okay. you are probably better off just buying the one for dummies which is what I am going to try next.

Wow, this book is terrible. Look at page 4, the introduction page, there is a typo in the first sentence. The entire page is grammatical errors. This book is a bunch of text copied and pasted from the internet, total garbage. All the reviews are clearly fake. 68 five star reviews in a few days? Each review is the same format, a sentence claiming the person is not technical and a sentence claiming the book actually taught them something. "I'm not a techie but this book taught me everything..." Avoid at all costs.

I promised myself that I would learn at least one programming language before I pass on. C is one of them. And now I have this beginner's guide to help me! Although I am 80 years of age, I look forward to finding out what I need to know. This book could be the solution! It is well written and very easy to comprehend.

C programming is an overwhelming prospect for many beginners. That's why I particularly loved C programming success in a day: beginners guide. As it does exactly what it claims to. It makes something seemingly hard to understand simple for those looking to venture into this area. I enjoyed it.
