44159 Temperature Sensor for X4 Series Charger

Works with my charger

Connector fits my HTRC T240 Duo Lipo Charger and the charger displayed the correct (ambient) external temperature in a quick test (16 degrees C as I was outside on a Fall day). Cable length excluding connectors is 17.5", which works perfectly with my Bat-Safe box with charger mounted on the metal flange and the cable fed through the Wire Way. Note that the sensor seems to be a small unit in the middle of the hollowed out side of the shell - I imagine this should be physically in contact with the battery being charged but that might not be easy to do for some battery shapes (See picture).

Plugs directly into my C240 DUO charger (I got two of the temp sensors).Worked fine to help me safely recharge the 28 NIMH modules when rebuilding my Prius Hybrid battery.The sensors have a rounded (concave) shape that is better suited to round cells, but it worked for me anyway,

I use them, taking all precautions, I only charge at 1C, so I probably don't need them. Battery never gets warm while charging, but I don't want to take chances. If something ever goes wrong it won't be pretty. I drove a nail thru a LiPo once just to see for myself, very violent reaction!, Very convincing to not take chances.

I bought this for my x2, and it works perfectly fine. Don't spend anymore time trying to find the temperature sensor for your x2, because this is it.

Great for NiCad and NiMH.Built-in magnet makes it super easy to connect to your battery back.Lipo will only heat up after it’s caught on fire but why not.-1 Star because the reading bounces around +/- 2°. Accurate enough to get the job done.

I bought this and it's working with my Hi-Tech RDX one pro. And I haven't had any problems and it's working just fine

case was cracked open and the sensor not seated properly, I'm withing the return period, buy it's not worth the hassle to return it , Money down the drain.
