Really sturdy ice cream container and silicone lid. The container is very sturdy and has not held onto any lingering odor from previous stores items like some plastic containers do. The lid is easy to snap on and I love that I can use a dry erase marker to write which is which when I make multiple flavors. Excellent and will get a few more to make large batches.

Just today I got my ice cream maker, an expensive Italian one that with the push of two buttons makes, apparently, the best ice cream/sorbet/gelato in the world. (So well packaged is it that I will need two days to completely unpack it.) Well, one cannot have such a fabulous ice cream maker without ice cream containers to put it in. I looked around and found myself settling (very happily) on these. I purchased two sets (of two containers each). They are washed now and awaiting their first round of ice cream. What I really appreciate about them is their sturdiness. The tops are silicone and somewhat floppy (in the way silicone is). Perhaps I should say flexible? The high quality tops fit the containers extremely well and are easy to get on and off due to that. The containers are a strong and sturdy plastic with a smooth interior that allows for expansion of the ice cream as it freezes while the outside has a bit of texture that makes for a good hand grip. You can literally feel the quality of the containers and what I also appreciate is the company's array of sizes from the pint or mini (8 oz.) size up to the large oval two-quart one. I bought the one-quart size, though I am considering the smaller ones too as these would be easier to bring as a gift. Highly recommended.

The ice cream containers are very sturdy with covers that are supple and easy to remove but still fit tightly. The containers were packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition.

These containers have worked so well for homemade ice cream. They are very easy to clean and are very durable. They stack together, so they don't take up a lot of space. They work much better than storing ice cream in the freezer in glass containers I was using. Definitely recommend if you make ice cream!

I was looking for silicone containers to fit my apoxie magic sculpt clay, because unfortunately the containers that they were in are not airtight, and the clay sticks to the side. I guess I didn't really read correctly and thought that the insides were also silicone or lined/coated or had somewhat of a non-stick texture inside. The lids are silicone, but the containers themselves are a good quality hard plastic like what you would find in a travel mug. I rolled the apoxy magic sculpt hardener and resin into balls and placed them in the container with room to spare, despite what it looks like from the picture as they're rolled into balls and so it takes up more space, but this makes it easier to grab when needed. I highly recommend these for for their intended use of ice cream or even leftovers. I bought them for our purposes and they're still really good.

They keep our home made ice cream perfectly in the freezer. We have not experienced ice crystals forming or melting at all. I ordered two more!

I buy craft ice cream in 5 litre containers and decant it into 1-litre containers for regular use. The Balci containers are idesl for storing these smaller quantities of ice cream. If I start mking smaller quantities of ice cream or sorbet again they will kmbe perfect.

I absolutely love these Balci ice cream containers. Each holds one litre of gelato, ice cream or sorbet. The container is nice and thick. It reminds me of the larger, much more expensive, ice cream containervthat I use for my Cuisanart Creations. The lid is a nice, thick and flexible Silicone. It won't warp in the dishwasher and doesn't crack in the freezer. It goes on easily and stays put until I pull it off of the container. The container, combined with the snug, thick silicone lid, will help keep your ice cream fresh, longer. I love the one litre size because I can make two different flavors of ice cream with only one base batch of ice cream. These Balci containers are great for selling a gourmet product or just making gelato for home-use. My family and my customers like the two containers because it allows me to use one base batch of gelato to make two different flavours. I simply divide the ice cream batch in half and create two separate flavours. I big hit in my family. The container/lid is very environmentally friendly as it's obviously made to be re-used over and over again. I offer my customers a discount if they return their container for a refill. These containers are a must buy for all ice cream gourmets and enthusiasts.
