PowerA Wired Controller for Nintendo Switch - Black

I bought this controller back in 2018, and I'm only just reviewing it now as I've bought a second one. Not because this one is broken, but because I wanted another for my friend and this one is such good quality I wanted another like it. I love the feel of the controller, It's much better ergonomically than the original Switch joy con controllers. I have small hands and this fits perfectly for me, but is also fine for larger hands too! It has great grip, the buttons are placed well, and it is great to play my Super Mario games with a matching controller. I love the lime green colour, which btw hasn't faded at all. My second recent buy is a funky purple and yellow Princess Peach controller, fingers crossed that will last as long. Great quality, great price. Nuff said.

Really good quality analogue sticks and buttons feel perfect. Bought this as I couldn't play BOTW with the standard controller as it felt too cramped. This is perfect. Everything feels top quality.

The controller looks aesthetically nice, the wired capability means you don't have to charge it and it is just plug-and-play. However, the missing vibration is a bit of a downgrade from the original joycons, and it feels very lightweight and cheap to grip. It is a bit sensitive on the thumbsticks. For the good price I think it's worth 4 stars.

This controller arrived promptly and in nice packaging. The controller itself feels super cheap - the plastic is a little slippery - but it works *really* well and the buttons respond really nicely. It is so light, which I think unfortunately lends to it feeling cheap. The Isabelle design is well printed on and looks nice. The cable is LONG! You can easily sit quite a distance from your Switch & TV with this. I recommend this if you're an avid Switch gamer and need a responsive wired controller.

Very good for the price

I expected more from this. It feels cheap and tacky. The buttons don’t feel like they’re of good quality, sometimes they don’t always register when you press. There’s no vibration feedback and it does not scan amiibo - if those are things you need this controller is not for you.

Este control de Nintendo Switch esta muy bien hecho, es cómodo, funciona correctamente y es bastante estético para el precio que tiene, incluso puedes conseguirlo aún mas barato cuando está en oferta. Muy buen control para jugar a cualquier tipo de juegos, lo recomiendo mucho para jugadores casuales que disfruten de la experiencia que da el jugar con un mando de consola sin gastar muchisimo en ello.

I had already bought 2 Power A controllers for my XBOX ONE and I was very impressed with both even after a few years. So I decided to give POWER A another go for my Nintendo Switch OLED. Same experience, it's been a few months now and controllers are still perfect and feel solid like the other two I have. Keep in mind that I'm an adult gamer and I take very good care of my devices. But the controllers do feel very solid, just not sure how they would stand against a raging teenager throwing them around. Same could be said for any brand. So for the price we pay, to me, it is a no brainer. I will remain a POWER A customer for all my future consoles/computers.
