Dreamscape Hoop Canopy

I gave this canopy 5 stars because it was well packaged in an outer box and in a clear zippered bag, it arrived quickly, and it was beautiful in looks, function, and quality. It looks exactly like the picture shown, and comes with the ring and a hanging hook. The net is plenty big enough to cover the whole bed if that's what you want. We leave ours just over the head of our daughter's bed and she sometimes closes it around her for a more "magical" feel. Ours is for decorative purposes, so if you are using it for bugs or other such things, I can't speak to that. One thing to consider is that the net is pretty long and if you have a smaller child or toddler, he or she might yank on it or get tangled up in all of it, which would certainly tear the net or pull it down from the ceiling. My daughter is 9 and that is not an issue for us. Besides, you don't want to hang a strangulation hazard over your toddler's bed anyway, so use common judgement as to what you will really be doing with this item. There were other cheaper ones offered, but reviews made me think the quality of them was lacking so I went with this one. It is a beautiful white, and we are very pleased with it.

This simply stunning and attractive hoop canopy mosquito netting in the ecru color does not detract from my bedroom decor and fits perfectly over my queen size bed. It was quite simple to put together and easily hung on a lamp hook that I installed in the ceiling using a butterfly type nut. I live on a bluff overlooking a rather large bird rookery located on the opposite side of the river mouth which attracts all kinds of biting insects. On rare occasions the wind shifts and blows the critters my way; and that is why I got this mosquito net. I am sure it will work; but the true test will be if it works on the no-see-ums which are very small, nasty, biting flies that hatch in August. There are over twenty different types of biting insects here in Alaska that hatch at different times of the year. There is a constant breeze near the ocean where I live and this keeps the bugs down for the most part. I am thinking of buying another one of these hoop canopy mosquito nets for the guest bedroom. We got the net for occasional trips to areas where we would need it. It is a very well made net but the wooden hoop is too large to fit into any reasonable sized suitcase. We realized it when the order showed up on a full-size bicycle box itself. If you do not need to pack it, it is a great net...

The price per unit was certainly adequate. The net surprising fit my king sized bed, albeit snuggly, along with my queen and full sized beds. But what surprised me was the strength of the net itself. The sheer strength is quite good for something that looks so ephemeral. Even an inadvertent twisting up by the vacuum brush unit did not overly cut the mesh. The loss of one star is due to two issues (1) In one of my three units the plastic insert for the ceiling was defective, necessitating some jury-rigging. The piece was obviously inappropriate for this device and was also flimsy. (2) There is no fastener for the entrance so it is possible, although not likely, that the flying devils may find entry.

I wanted good quality netting for my twin girls' room. When I converted their cribs to toddler beds (removed one side of the crib rails), I put both "big girl beds" together with a 2-foot wide walkway between them and hung this in the middle so it drapped evenly over and around both beds. It looks absolutely beautiful. My girls go through the opening in the canopy, down the little aisle between the beds and can face each other as they fall asleep. When I first put it up and showed them their new bed set up, they were so excited and called it their "dream tent." It looks beautiful in their room and is very good quality. Its long enough that I can pull the ends of it down and under the beds feet all the way around so they can't pull on it and get tangled in it. They love going to bed at night now and dreaming under their dream tent!

This is a great canopy and for a great price. I got it for my 5 year old daughter. We got the pink and it is a light pink. It hung up easily and even came with the hook that we just had to screw into the ceiling. It has little ties to tie it onto the round hoop at the top. We have a high ceiling and the length was perfect and it is large enough to close around the whole bed. Now my 3 year old daughter wants one for her bed. So I will be purchasing another one.

Okay, so I have bought three different mosquito nets. The best one I bought was: FineHome Bed Canopy Mosquito Net, One Size Fits All (White) Why better? It's longer and the access fold has a much larger overlap. The problem is that most of these nets are so darn short. Mosquitoes can get through even the smallest opening. The second problem is that the folds open too easily. ( I wish finehome sold one with no opening at all). Also, this net has a fixed thick plastic ring which frankly looks ponderous hanging above a bed. The finehome's is a thin wire rim hidden by the net, which I think is much better because: 1, it's more elegant; 2, if you happen to put a little pressure on the net the wire offers more give than the plastic ...the last thing you want is to pull the hook assembly down from the ceiling leaving a big hole. Two stars is a little unfair, the net is nice and well made. But I'm grading on a curve here.

Bought this for my daughter who wanted a "princess" canopy over her bed. Looked at many available options. The ones made specifically for little girls seemed cheap looking, and a little tacky. I am very pleased with this one. We hung it up easily and it looks great. (Had a little difficulty figuring out how to gather the top portion, there were no directions. I contacted the seller and they were very responsive and we figured it out easily.) It is very soft and flowy. My daughter loves it. She loves being inside it, feels like her own special place. It is a little big for a twin bed but not bad. I would definitely reccomend this.
