Z-LiteZ-Lite 171-16W-C Albion Three Light Pendant, Metal Frame, Brushed Nickel Finish and White Linen Shade of Fabric Material

Chose this to replace an old dated fixture in the dining area. The ceilings are only 8' so I wanted a semi-flush light that didn't hang down too low. The fixture comes with two down rod lengths- one long telescoping (as shown in photo) and one shorter 5". I used the shorter 5" option. The total fixture length including shade hangs down 13" from the ceiling. The shade is a clean, warm white fabric with just a bit of texture. Nicely made.The installation was easy and straightforward except for the last two steps. First was attaching the two decorative ball screw caps that you can see on the base. The screws they attach too were a bit too long, so even when screwed on completely the base was not secure to the ceiling. It left a little gap and it still wobbled. Ended up using a hammer and a pair of pliers to force them tighter. The second issue was putting in the fabric bottom disk was a bit tricky. After popping it in the only way you can get it flush against the bottom edge of the shade is to push down on it from above--which isn't easy. I ended up using a wood ruler to poke around the inside and push down the edges until it was flush. I will have to do this again every time I change the bulbs.Once complete the overall look of the light is clean and modern. Being close to the ceiling you almost don't notice it, which is what I wanted. I have the light on a dimmer switch with the three 60W bulbs as instructed. It's quite bright at full light, but also provides good light at dimmed levels. My only gripe is cosmetic--you can see the shadow of the bent inside "arms" through the shade. The design could be improved so that you don't see this odd "v" shadow at the four points where the arms attach.Despite some issues, overall it's a good buy for the price.

Very pleased with this light fixture. Install was simple - nothing out of the ordinary. It coordinates very well with the other stainless light fixtures in our kitchen. We originally purchased a similar, but less expensive, 1-light model from another company that hung suspended from its own wire. It looked so cheap, and we returned it. This fixture by Z-Lite was hands-down the better purchase and definitely worth the money. It looks more expensive than it was and having three lights puts out a more comfortable amount of light over our table.

If you want a clean modern simple look then this is a nice lighting fixture. It was a bit too simple for me, so I did send it back. Amazon is great. No issue with returns. The quality was what you expect, middle of the road. It has a good extender to adjust the height. The metal is brushed nickel and it has a diffuser for the lights.

I hunted for the exact light I wanted and was so excited to find it here. Installation (electrical) was tricky, plan to pay an electrician.
