I loved this product. it was exactly what I wanted. It is completely plastic and durable. My son wanted a wand but he is 3 years old and is rough on things. This way he can toss this around and I don't have to worry about damage! It was exactly what I wanted and not bad for the price.

Got for my toddlers for Christmas so they would stop trying to play with my collectible wands they love them and now in march are still running around the house shouting spells at each other. The plastic bothers me a bit because of the feel but that is just from a collectors stand point. The kids love them and that's all that matters really to me. They have held up to being dragged every where and even put in the bath. Great product for the price and for children. Not something I would suggest for an adults cosplay costume or a collector.

my 6 yr old loves it. i read a lot of reviews about it peeling/chipping but we haven't had any issues and my son has had it for over 4 months. great toy for a kid or for a comcon accessory.

My daughter wanted a HP wand for Xmas, but you know how kids are. They grow out of stuff so quickly that I didn't want to spend $35 on the other wands I found. Then I found this guy. It was cheap so I bought it. The picture doesn't do this thing justice. It looks like someone took a long, thin poop and shaped a wand out of it. It's hollow plastic too, so it got torn up almost immediately. Luckily I was right. My daughter grew out of her HP phase, but if your kid is a huge HP lover, spring for the more expensive options. They're WAY better.

I bought this Harry Potter wand for my son's Halloween costume. It came packaged in a cardboard backing with plastic around it, like many kids toys do. When I opened the package to show it to my son, the paint on the wand's handle started to break off in big chunks. In his excitement, my son took it from me to get a closer look, and ended up with huge paint ships all over his hands and all over my kitchen floor. Since the product is made in China, I didn't want him handling anything with paint chipping off of it for chemical concerns. I immediately put it back in the packaging in which it arrived and requested a refund from Amazon. The wand is made of very lightweight, somewhat flimsy plastic. The paint was dry and crackly. I would strongly recommend not purchasing this item, especially for smaller children due to health concerns - though it general, it's just very poor quality!

Perfect! I was worried because of negative reviews, but it's been sturdy. Exactly what we were looking for. A favorite toy! A great price and worth every penny.
